Hi all,
29 days till surgery, no use complaining about qld health waiting times its what u expect when one is on the public system.
On the 29th I get injections into my breast with some dye stuff to see if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.
Went for a walk yesterday and damn near killed myslef nearly (b4 the cancer does, lol ) walked the long way to the shops and got 2 days of groceries and 6 litres of soda water carried it all home a distance of about 1.5 klms in total I walked for 1 and a half hours never again. Spent all day Wednesday recuperating.
Plan to walk for at least 6 hours per week as I am hoping my recovery will be quicker if I am fit.
Had coffee with a couplke fo friends 1 who had a double mast several years ago and she said think of all the advantages of having no breast no bras no more worry, although her cancer same as mine IDC has come back but having no breasts has bought her 7 years with her family.
Doctors not certain about Chemo depends if the cancer has spread my friend says I should get a couple of doses of chemo as a just in case.
Woman who lives up the back of me ran into my car awhile ago and she said she wasnt going to worry about me paying for it even though we were both at fault as I have damage to my car as well.
Opened my front door to let the cat in and she bellows out she is going to give me a quote for her car repairs as far as I am concerned I aint paying her a red cent as my car is damaged as well and she was in my blind spot when I was reversing.
Also isnt it lovely she knos I have cancer and she didnt even enquire about my well being, thats just what the people are like in this street and unit complex couldnt give a flying you know what about anyone but theirselves and their own interests.
Cant sleep at night I lay awake worrying about the operation if the cancer has spread how long have I got, what about my son etc..

Hi all ๐
Dunno where the cancer thread has gone, ๐
Second round of chemo tolerated much better they gave me the correct medication the other stuff they gave me reacted with my meds, asked the Oncologist Doc about it he said all good, mentioned to the nurse and she mentioned it to her team leader and they gave me something else didnt need to use it but felt a bit queasy last 4 days but it could be due to the heat it was 33 degrees here yesterday, still managed to do my chores it cooled down a little at night and cold showers help.
Hope all is well with Miss and Jen ๐
