Sorry to hear about hubs Miss I def know where he is coming from he is lucky he has u though.
My doc is trialing me on a new diabetes medication it starts with D and than a new anti-d I just asked if there were any new ones sweeing as I have been on mine for 7 years, she said yes Effexor have new ones out.
Just wondering if anyone has an unlocked mobile phone they would like to sell me.
Darn hot today up here as well I was dreaming about Shirl and how lucky she is to be in Tassie I'm also dreaming about moving down there to get away from this dreaded heat, lol. I think I'll be whinging about moving every fews months with this heat and this recession the north is in!!
I got a Pedicure today my poor feet so deserved it the massage she gave me I thought I had died and gone to heaven...but alas she stopped and I woke up, lol.

I am on Lexapro and have had wonderful results with it. Hope you get your sorted out.

Now I am curious too PJ - did she have her baby and more importantly was the baby ok? She is a brave lady to have a child at that age.

far as I know rosie everything was fine, baby was a girl, and mum and bubs and day are all good, i dont have this carer anymore, but last i heard all was good..

I have not mentioned it again as last time I was called a liar and told its impossible for a 56 year old to have a baby!!

Finished babysitting my nephew and neice today we made a cubby under the trampoline (fun!) - OH remarked he is feeling somewhat down lately so I'm a bit worried the depression may come back - (he suffered badly with it about 10 yrs. ago). A hard road. Anyway will do what I can to help. Have a great day everyone!

I don't recall anyone doing that PJ, however, I do miss a lot of things. It is not impossible though. It must be difficult to change carers when you get used to each other and I am pleased all went well with the baby. I can't imsagine how tiring it would be for her, however, the terrible 2's will be a test!

Thank you Karen its going ok although i just shut the house up and went for a drive down to Murwillumbah and had a coffee and chilled out........today the house really got to me but tomorrow is another day:)

hey jv , i posted the confused guy icon, because i am trying to understand how sometimes posters can be unkind in some threads and nice in others... had some not so nice stuff said to me yesterday....
i was really at hurt at one comment... I wish people would understand that, I have had a hell of a life everything from being abused as a child, to being left at a hospital when i was really sick, when i was a kid to be told that you were not wanted anymore, down to having severe physical disabilities, and also to be told that because of these my life is considerably shortened..and I dont need to be told that i should be greatful to my mother for this... more than likely its a case of not really understanding or knowing the full story,, I dont expect people to know how it feels to be abused, and to struggle everyday against constant pain esp if they have had a relatively good childhood that was full of love and encouragement and support...
its hard and i wish people understood that... and its not in here thats the problem..its some of the other threads...

its hot again here in adelaide,, but then again I have been told I am weak if i cant handle a heatwave..LOL!! 39 today and its overcast and muggy as!!!! and we have 41 tomorrow...

hope everyone is okay and if its hot where you are then try stay cool and dont get sunburn, keep up them fluids.

You know Bear there is a saying one has to walk the same path to try and understand and im sure that would be the same for anyone that was abused as a child.

Personally so foreign to me.....i had a marvellous Dadda and Pop and uncles who doted on me as i was the only girl. Can never get my head around people that get their whatevers from imposing their will size etc over a tiny child.....im sure so abhorent to anyone and i do believe that the penalities are not nearly strong enough


But then alas this country is stuffed by politically correct do gooders:(

Well i didnt get too much done at the house today........had some very upsetting news about my aged friend.

She has very recently had a battery of tests.....and the results came back.

She has cancer of the colon with secondaries to the liver.....no real full on symtoms but just a bit of not feeling well.

She is 70 divorced wasnt able to have kids........comes from Ireland originally so really has no family out here.......cant believe that she is going to be poleaxed like that......one never knows what Card is going to be pulled out of the pack:(
