Hi JVH glad you are resting - but sorry for the reason you must! OH went to the dr. today thinking he had bursitis in his elbow - but the dr. thinks it's the gout! Blood tests tomorrow will confirm.

Hi dame - I find 'reflective' days quite cleansing - I'm so happy your friend surprised you (and such effort) - and so deserved. I'm sorry to hear you have had to endure a major tragedy - I find life is never quite the same afterwards - regardless of the passing of time (now look who is being reflective lol!) -

Pjbear not sure if you were in day surgery or overnight - but hope to see you back in great health soonest!

Hi Miss and oh geez the OH must be in agony with gout.........a natural product that does help is eating cherries.........the bottled ones are excellent.........am thinking the OHs uric acid level must be raised and until he can get that down hes going to be in agony.......hope things improve for him very soon:)

Goooooooooood morning all...........and the OH off to play charity golf.......day organised by the Salvation Army..........a very worthwhile cause:)

Cant believe how hot it still is here......like the middle of summer surely things must ease very soon.

Hiya JVH hope there has been improvement in your shoulder. Yes OH in a lot of pain (elbow) but he's still taking me out for lunch tomorrow lol. (Do have loads of cherries in the pantry - will go put some on his icecream) - that way I know he will eat them.

Very quiet in here today - hope this means everyone is out and having fun!

Garage sale at the school was a waste of time but miss enjoyed a sausage in bread (so did I).

I finished up spending the night in the emergency room at Redcliffe hospital with my BP skyrocketing. Twas 208/88 OMG - talk about feel weird.

Got home at 5am and had a house inspection at 2pm.

Seems the new you beaut blood pressure medication is not so good after all.

Lots better now - taking my old meds till I see the doctor on Monday.

heymissnogal, my surgery was cancalled after spending all day fasting, the dr came in at 8pm to let me know, that they had to cancel,I had been fasting since midnight,, but hey these things happen.... I do't post much anymore, found a really friendly forum, there's heaps friendly posters in there, we don't allow any nonsense, bullying or nastiness at all, it's great to be able to post without being targeted and victimised.

My surgery has been rescedueled for the begining of April.

So how are things with you?Did you find anything at all at the garage sale?

PJ how awful you went through that to have the surgery rescheduled. I hope next time you have the surgery. It's awful to prepare yourself emotionally only to find out its canceled.
