Good morning all!

Hiya JVH - OH just left again for Sydney was a lightening visit but he did enjoy being home. He will get his hospital results back tomorrow from the local hospital there. Won't see him again till xmas eve. Haven't found out if the overseas visitors arrive xmas day or not secretly hoping not (haven't seen them for 15 yrs was a sports partner of OH when we lived in the USA) and I hardly know them at all. Just too much going on atm.

Hi dame didn't think it would be long before you 'adopted' some new oldies! Way to go mr beam sharing a stubbie with Ash and so nice of you to bake the cake for the residents -

Cleaning up today and have a lunch at the local RSL tomorrow and need to buy a pressie for my bro. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Yes can relate to the pressure of visitors wanting to lob when one lives on the coast............i think a lot of people think one runs a hotel lol..........hope all goes well for your OH with the results

Hi Miss I hope your OH is feeling better and that the results from the hospital are ok. Sounds like your Christmas will be busy with your overseas visitors, how nice they could visit!

HI everyone....

Hope some of you are enjoying the cold snap... we had snow down in VIC and I can feel it in the air, I like it. I would rather have that and my heat pack than 40 degree heat.

Have been very sick over weekend but hope with more rest today I will be okay. Still have some pain but its easing. I am dealing with more bad news too so I have quite a week behind me so far. Mr Beani is working such odd hours and our routine is up the creek. Cant wait for things to get back to normal.

But Mum and FIL are both coping okay with their illnesses so we can breath a small sigh of relief. Until the next crisis.

Hi JVH shame the golf got cancelled - don't know what happened to summer - got the heat blasting tonight lol! OH didn't get to the hospital today (tsk tsk) - but promised me he will go tomorrow. Im hoping if something was amiss they would have contacted him by now.

Hi dame thank you kindly and very best wishes to you and your family and the very debonair mr beam! A stressful year coming to a close - may the next one be sunshine and happiness!

Out all day today shopping and lunching missed a call from my neice wanting to come for a sleepover - hopefully can arrange one this week. Also want to meet up with my sister we plan to meet 'half way' as she lives in the country and won't be coming down for xmas. Haven't heard one way or the other when these o/seas guests are coming and OH will only be home 2 days over xmas so a bit flustered.

Hugs to everyone and been a bit of a day...........have concluded that Christmas time can be a right pain in the neck with this one doing something etc etc...........and none of it gelling together.........boy am i glad i only had the one lol.......the OHs kids are enough to drive one nutso lol

Its been a great year in so many ways..........very difficult i know for some of you..........with either your own ill health or that of ones near and dear to you............many of you having to make massive adjustments in your lives.............hoping with fingers crossed that 2011 is a much more serene life and year for us all:)

Hi jvh lovely wishes to the thread - thank you!! Hard to imagine hot weather absoloutely freezing down here~ got jumpers on and heat blasting.

Re-claiming my dining room today - OH has been using it as a second office and I want to get it looking pretty for the weekend. Nearly finished then I can set the table in readiness - wish I knew for how many lol!

Oh wow that makes it so hard to cater for buy food for etc.........yes cant believe the temps you guys are coping down south..........looks almost as though you guys may get a white christmas:(
