Dame ((hugs)) wish I had the words. Just know your dad loves you on the inside through and through. I have tried to imagine how it is for you (and was for our JVH with her dear ma) - struggling with the same ugly ailment and quite frankly it is too hard to go there without a pain to the heart. May you be given the strength to endure this - and thankyou for your kindness with the other residents. Happy father's day to Ash a very special soul!

Ah thats good to hear.............when we had Grandfather in care ie my mothers dad( who lived to 99 and 9 months) he had a nip of brandy most nights...hed done that all his life so we were able to continue that when he went into care at 95 I think a wee drop of the creature a lot better for them than sleeping meds in most cases

Bet you are pretty jiggered been a stressful day for you:)
