Miss and Kezza thanks for the lovely thoughts at least Dave is no longer in pain.  His darling wife is taking it all very very hard as she nursed him right till the end:( Difficult situation with Daves son as he doesnt accept his step mother in point of fact tried to have his father declared incompetent so that he couldnt marry Wendy....that of course didnt work:)

Morning all and been ratting about doing stuff

Well we have a signature on the contract cant believe it but we heard it from the legal eagle so must of course be right.  With all the stuffing about them signing nearly 3 weeks after they were supposed to sign we have asked for an extension of at least 2 weeks we have to hear back on that.

A present just arrived for C from my friend in WA, he's off with his group making cookies atm.  Stayed up late I watched Burlesque it was a good movie despite thelip syncing.  Good news we get a child Support payment tomorrow so we will have a nice Chrissy dinner not sure what we are going to have as I'm not a flash cook,lol.

Jen glad you have the contract signed an early Chrissy present for you.

Beanie will have to check out yr thread, I enjoy reading what yr up to, how's the weather there?

Hi JVH such a sad situation for everyone and a sad Xmas as well! Hope the stepson overcomes the bitterness towards his step ma going forward. Feel so badly for them all and your loss of a lifelong friend. Poor man may he fly high with the angels!
Congratulations on getting the signature. A bittersweet time!
OHs bone scan was clear. However dr still concerned re the non healing and increased meds for a bit.

Hi kezza lucky C and his early Christmas pressies. Hope he brings some of those cookies home for you!

Nice butcher didn't save my pork like he promised. Went to 2 others no joy for the cut I wanted. Gave up and went to Safeway to enforce plan B (a leg of lamb) and lo and behold they had loads of the cut of pork I was looking for! Horrendous bagging a carpark at all these different places.

Getting new shoes on the 4th of Jan so I will be able to go walking again 🙂

Order a book from the UK called 'Old before my time' by a  girl and her Mum.  the girl has Progeria she has been on 60 mintues and had a few doco's done about her life her name is Hayley Okines and her Mum added me as a friend on fb her name is Kerry too, lol...

Miss yes a horrible situation........none of us are being allowed to be able to grieve in a serene environment.....some odd people out there......yes good news about the contract but still doesnt feel right...........wont believe anything till i see the dough....of course right on Christmas all the legal eagles have gone to ground and ours not back till 9th January.......still plodding on and doing stuff.

Had a friend/collegue of my son call in this afternoon.....hes up here on a posting for 2 years and ive always been like a second mum and he thinks the world of the OH which is nice.......lost his Dad at a very young age:(

Thats very good news about the OHs scan...........at least they are going over everything:)

Kezza i had seen a doco about that young lady what a terrible sad case...........and such a little determined person.

Never rains but it pours JVH fingers crossed the contract runs smoothly. Lovely for the young man to have a second family with you and really nice of your OH to take him under his wing. Hope you are better from the flu too. That was a bad bout and you don't need any more stress!
OH back to the docs tomorrow for a re-dressing of the toe/foot. Just as well as it has doubled in size again today and is bright red. No doubt the dr will think up another test to run.

Hey kezza nice to see your pretty profile pic on fb. Great news re the new shoes. I plan on doing more walking next year too!

Yes was wonderful to see Jason.....hes of course very military and already organising everything......wants to help us with the move whatever.......dropped around a heap of boxes for us and packing tape.  Yes the OH gets on well with all young people....is a natural born father lol

Geez your OH is having a tough time with his health...does your OH suffer from gout as well?
