Goooooooooooooood morning all........another magic day on the Coast.........will be hitting the garden before it gets too hot and then go see Mother:) The RN rang yesterday to say that Doc had improved her pain meds.........weve basically had to fight for every alteration in her meds.........my son has now stepped in with herr docteur:) We basically cant see the point of the poor old darling in such a state doesnt seem to make rhyme or reason........she would totally hate to be in the state she is in.........she is pitifully thin.........my son said its just like a re run Mother of when Dadda died:( Oh well thats my rant for the day unless of course i run into herr docteur:):)

Thankyou all for the wishes for my friend, the judge was quite lenient and my friend ended up with 18 months probation, 150 hours community service and a $2,000.00 compensation awarded.
We were very pleased with the decision as my friend knows he did the wrong thing and I am so pleased he got another chance!
PAULINE so good to see you, I have been wondering how you are and good luck with the liver!

Well thank the good lord above for car wreckers, I got a seat for the back exactly matches my car, has a tiny cig. hole in it but you have to look for it.
I also got a cover (not sure what you call it) that goes into the boot it was missing, it goes across the back, when you lift up the back of the hatch.
Got a couple other bits and pieces and wait for it this ol dame got a set of ALLOY MAG WHEELS, now with the red car and those there wheels I is a rarin to go lol:)

Lol Dame and you will be buzzing everywhere when you get the mags on

Reminds me of my sons first car a turbo charged Nizzan 180SZ i think thats the numbers, anyways it used to go like the clappers.............and very occasionally i would borrow it..........and take great delight in sitting at the traffic lights.........and ever so gently revving the idles up a tiny bit.......people would always do a double take seeing this old girl in such a rev heads car:)

Mother super peaceful today and resting she had just been bathed when i got there........her pain meds have been upped quite a lot.........so hopefully she will have lots and lots of long sleeps:)...........Thanks for caring:)

Hi Bear and good to see you up and about...........sorry to hear you may have a transplant hanging over your head.........my mate 51 years of age is on the list up at the Princess Alexander Hossie in Brissie..........his caused by taking panadol whilst waiting for knee replacement...........was never a drinker........hes going through the loops now..........and is having to go backwards and forwards to see the transplant clinic

Mine is also paracetamol related..that stuff is deadly, the dr's say its one of the most potent drugs out there in regards to the effect it has on the liver..
I have more blood tests on wednesday, to check on my liver function, hopefully the count has come down!

Fingers crossed on the result..........my mate had been on the Panadol tops 8 months or thereabouts..........was super fit swam ran etc...........now looks absolutely dreadful:(

pjbear glad you are home - so sorry for what you have been through/going through. Welcome back!

Dame - so happy for you and your friend regards the favorable verdict - big relief all around! You are a very kind friend to stand by him with such unwavering support. He is lucky to have you as a friend. Congrats regards getting the wheels up to 'dame standard' - and mag wheels taboot!! Very cool!

Hello nef - hope you had a happy day! I don't get to church as often as I should - mostly around xmas time (OH's mother passed on xmas day and his father passed on St. Patrick's day) - (long time ago now) - but he likes to go to church on these days as a sign of acknowledgement for his parents. It is a nice community gathering.

Ok so I got the den/office nearly finished today - nice and sparkling and everything put away - hopefully something else will get done tomorrow.

Good morning all.

Feeling heaps better today. Went to the doctor yesterday for my blood test results. Thyroid is underactive again. So up goes the Oroxine. Maybe this will help with the general tiredness I have been feeling. Got sprung not taking my cholesterol meds. So back on them again.

JV hope your mum is well today. It must be hard on you. Sorry I have not commented before, I just never know what to say. I can not even say I understand how it is. Never have been in that situation. Never will be with parents as both sets of parents have passed away.

Well S & Z are off to Singapore tomorrow morning. I won't be able to go to the airport as I have to get the dreaded injection in the morning. They will be gone a month.

Had my freebie hairdo yesterday and Stefans has given me a second one to have before I leave on out trip. How good is hat? So he really does look after his customers. I am very impressed.

Hi Missnogal and you got it right re Mother looking more peaceful.........the way i look at it if she is sleeping she doesnt have a clue whats going on or be fretting........the powers that be still have a very long way to going to find how the brain really ticks:(

Hi Purps and can relate to the cholestrol meds.........i cant tolerate any of them been on quite a few..........and all of them make me feel dreadful........so am on a wing and a prayer...........i keep looking at Mother and thinking i dont want to be taking anything that prolongs my life to the stage Mother is at:(.........sorry to hear that both your Mum and Dad passed over so young, nothing would prepare you for that either:(

Good for you having your hair done always makes a girl feel a whole lot better about yourself:)
