Good evening to the thread:)
What a humid day we had today, I am losing weight and I think I can safely blame it on the weather:)
I have been busy helping Mr Beam with his appartment, lots of fun getting the furniture and I am enjoying his pool and spa:)
I have picked up some terrific furniture bargains locally and chasing a couple of items on ebay for him:)

Hi Losta and girl it aint always a bed of roses having a partner Have or are you taking vitamins at all..........sometime if we get a tad run down everything seems to get on top of us..........and like miss said have you thought of getting a little pet at all?

I have a gold fish , i bought him when my Dog of 18 years passed away, I was devastated and the year before my cat aged 19 got cancer and had to have her put to sleep , so i have had the pet thing and as much as I miss them , i am so over picking up poop, have been doing it for 36 of my 56 yrs,
I did have a claytons relationship, but we didnt live together and it ended because of his lack of ability to control his mouth when on the drink
so it just me and the fish and the job,
life is good , i am healthy , have as job and good friends, so i am not complaing just somrtimes wish things were different

dancing, sorry to hear of your mothers passing , miss mine everyday,

kezza , hope things start to be better for you , take the meds you need , and if it makes you feel good to get your nails done , then do it , you deserve it, take lots of anti cold foods to help rid you both of the bug


jv, ever thought to get a quote from the grey army for the roof?

enjoy your glass of wine miss, about to have one myself

Hi and thanks so much for the heads up on the grey army am going to get them out to quote on replacing a set of stairs outside and ask them re the roof as well.........am so over doing up the place and sorting through all the stuff:(

Goooooooooooooooood morning everyone and humid again. Catching up with a friend for morning tea later on while she is up from Bowral.........will be nice to have a natter.............might do a spot of sewing early this am always something to do:)

Hi Darki and so sorry to hear that the fur babies give you asthma..........thats got to be hard to deal with when one loves animals so much. I have the most marvellous little man.........hes shi tzu and maltese cross.....he has the key to Mummys heart:)...........he likes to sit on my lap when im at the comp or sewing and watch what gives:)

yayayy day off, spending the arvo with my daughter , morning catching up on chores

jv, what sort of things do you sew, i have just started up again,even bought a new overlocker,made a few things for daughter but my imagination fails me !!!..

I have the opportunity to get a malteses shitzu cross , sooo tempted , but wouldnt be fair to leave it alone while i am working the hours i do and would have to leave it inside , dont think i could cope with the destruction while i am out, so might just wait till i retire

jv and dame, enjoy you friendly catchups , always nice to do that

my daughter and her hubby want a dog , actually one each , i jump up and down about their lack of time for a pet and the expense for animals these days are huge and they just built a house and they cant see they cant afford pets yet...watching this space..lol

Hi losta - jvh is so right regards finding the 'right' companion otherwise you are better off on your own. I had a darling cocker spaniel years ago (cancer when she was 4) - was on chemo - and got hit and killed by a car!! (We figured it was just her time). Haven't had a dog since and OH has never had one - but I'm on the prowl for one atm.

Hi darki - I posted early on in your 'cancer' thread - update on my uncle being he has '18 months' - I figure a lot can happen within that time and have fingers crossed.

Booked another weekend stay in the city - will take my neice - didn't get the housework done the other day (my friend called and I went out to play lol) - so hopefully will finish it today (blah!)
