JVH please do rest up today!! Think a ''me" day is definitely the order of the day and so deserved!!

6 champagnes in tonight lol (small glasses) was a lovely party. Young man said I was like his second mother which melted my heart! (Son of my best friend of 40yrs) !

Early start popping in just in case not home in time to post tonight and wanted to wish for all a grat day!

Miss went out for breakkie and then came home and planted a heap of day lillies..............they do grow like weeds................had a heap of older ones to split up and re plant.

Then sons friend popped in for coffee..............keeps an eye on me...............delightful family always willing to help

Afternoon all

Hi JVH lovely your sons friend pops in to see you! Nearly bought some Lillie's today but had other errands and forgot to pick some up when I was leaving the shops. They were beautiful!

Still tired after the trip but at least being weekend had no big trucks to contend with on the road!! Missed out on photos was out of charge but the baby is beautiful and has a huge head of hair lol. My sister made a beautiful lunch. Also found out my other sister and her family have bought a great Dane LOL!! Can't believe it!

Washing machine on and then going to relax with a coffee!

Oh wow you sound like you were super busy and i always get dog tired after a trip like that knocks me around for weeks and weeks:(

And a great dane that is one mega dog but they can be super well trained:)

Hi Jen and Miss,

C and I had our night away the food was terrfic stayed at the Mecure Inn up here day was fairly cold for the Ville 24 degrees we still went for a swim went to bed early cranked the a/c down to 18 degrees and piled the blankets on.

Missed my little doggie he was so excited to see us the next day went for my walk today didnt want to go forced myself felt better for it.

C is learning the bongo's with a group he is in and we are going to have a bbq later this month and they do a presentation on the bongo's we get a pamper pack as well so looking forward to that.

Afternoon all!

Hi JVH yes that country day trip is a long one feeling more normal now! Hope well your way! I'm a bit in shock from the leash free park a huge dog came up to me and I was patting it then my pooch came up and jumped up tail wagging and proceeded to kiss it! I was thinking how cute when all of a sudden the big dog turned fierce and turned on my little one. Can't believe I held onto the big one as long as I did it was practically foaming at the mouth then I couldn't hold it any longer and it went after my dog who was crying and trying to get away! Lady who owned the dog couldn't control it and I was frantically trying to grab it (wasn't scared at the time just wanted to save my dog). Thank goodness a man came running over and kicked it away, The man then checked my dog and said he seemed ok. The lady put her dog on a lead and had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to re-introduce my dog to it while she had it leashed. I told her I didn't think so and carried my dog to the car. I'm glad my neice wasn't with me today with a ferocious dog like that! Sorry for the rant we are both fine LOL!

Kezza am so happy you had such a lovely time away with C! 24 would be a warm day here lol! Glad you have a pamper pack coming. Think you really deserve it!!! Hope it is loaded with goodies!

Morning all and until we get onto ADSL the dongle doesnt allow me to get onto the boards is a right pain

Kezza you sound like you both had a marvellous break away how lovely to share that very special time:) keep up the good work walking and thanks for the comments on the hibiscus grow like weeds after good dosing with blood and bone

Miss gezz that sounds dreadful about that huge dog............got me beat why people have such massive dogs...............think some of them have a complex..............and yes thank goodness the little one wasnt with you..............you would have been so dreadfully stressed....................very pleased fur baby is aok:)

Have a great day you to...........and heading for Canberra today week was going tomorrow but still have bits to sort here is a right pain but at least i get to spend Mothers day with the family god willing:)

JVH so excited to hear of your pending mothers day trip to Canberra!!! Sorry it had to be postponed but a week is not long to wait! Think you really deserve this!

Yes baby is fine lol think it is a downfall to owning a little dog. He's such an active little thing do my best to exercise him safely every day.
Just wish other owners were more responsible.

Been out all day shopping treated myself to a new bag. Dog park was empty and all good with the world lol!

And yes Miss getting the clothes ready nothing like some jeans and boots as part of the staple lol  Got a full lenght overcoat that will be getting a work out lol

And yes know what u r saying re large dogs and owners that dont care...............shame there is not somewhere really safe where you can take baby..........

Getting in count down mode..............but will be able to go away with a clear mind hopefully lol

Hi JVH counting down with you so happy for you! I'm guessing you will be driving? (I love the drive stopping along the way etc). Glad you have an overcoat - the secret is actually layering to stay truly warm (ie singlet/t-shirt/skivvy/jumper/jacket/overcoat lol and in that order as they can be peeled off as necessary!

Pouring again here hoping to get the wet out of the way as Monday the deck gets ripped up finally massive job for one stupid leak the whole thing has to come up. Ballistrade coming down as well will need to keep an eye on the pooch it's a long way to fall! Also just over a week till I get possession of the little miss!
