Hi Missand thats sounds like one dreadful job so once again you to are enduring tradies:)

I have put baby in the kennels which are fairly handy to this house when we were moving and when the house was a shambles well a big shambles is a lot tidier now but still not up to scratch lol

Oh i bet you are counting down till the little angel arrives............how long is she there for

Yes have thrown in a few pairs of jeans and long shirts and sleeveless vests plus the overcoat...............has to be in single digit figures for it to effect me................love those wonderful cold mornings lol

Hi JVH glad you have some warm clothes! Love Canberra - they do a fabulous afternoon tea at the Hyatt - and being across the road from Parliament many suites named after dignitaries. Very interesting! Also adore the quaint coffee shops they have around.

Remember you mentioning baby likes the kennels which is a load off your mind!
My friend is heading north and looking forward to better weather (Hamilton Island)

Little miss will be with me just under 2 weeks - will be hard work lol but I can't wait!

Evening Miss and yes i love Canberra as well.............everyone well dressed and for the most part well mannered..............am over having to deal with the big waves of crime we r experiencing in the gold coast area.

How is the OH going with his health improvement and diet programme...............fingers crossed that his health continues to improve big time

Off to the gsales in the am and out for a coffee and take Baby for a long walk.................fairly quiet day coming up................but bet im in the garden at some stage lol

Hi JVH hope you find some bargains at the g sales! Would have liked to have done the same but it's too wet! Hasn't stopped the boys turning up to rip down the ballistrade this morning was a surprise to see them. Barbecue too heavy to carry downstairs so they put it in my bar area lol along with the balcony pots mama Mia what a mess! Guess its my turn now - you have certainly been through it!

OHs blood pressure status quo always around 185/125 so it's high. He refuses to take the pills that make him sick so the dr still adjusting .He's taking about half of what he was prescribed which is a lot. Still doing the lite n easy for weight loss so it's on going - thank you!! He's taking the home monitor to his next appt to check the accuracy.

Wish I was going to Canberra too lol! Treated myself to some lovely new luggage wondering when I will get to christen it he he! I have a toilet bag and makeup bag always packed and ready to go as for some reason these are the things I hate to pack from scratch lol!

Hi miss and yes got out to the gs and got some lovely crystal glasses............just the right size for a little liquer.............

Did a bit of gardening this afternoon...............split up some more lillies want them to frame the whole border of the garden.

Yes you can have the tradies............am so over having men tramping through the house no matter how professional.

Just have to get the outside stairs done and a quote on a big carport as am thinking of turning the garage into a sitting room /bedroom thing as has the new bathroom opening off it.............just have to win a bit of dough lol

Have a procession of neighbours coming over with advice or offering to help.............we must look old and frail or something which we certainly arnt

Good afternoon!

Hi JVH sounds like major renovations still happening! Look forward to pics! Yes one big headache!

Got the tiles coming up at the crack of dawn and special waterproofing product going down immediately hence taking the pooch and having a sleepover at my mums so he stays away from the top balcony and the expected 6 tradies (including my brother). Will come home tomorrow night if it is safe lol!

Just attended a special opening of a major building store (by invitation) a friend is working there so was obliged. Called Masters but identical to Bunnings only heated lol.

Got my bag packed will probably head off after dinner - think OH will be happy he gets the remote all to himself tonight.

Yes great idea to head out of the house with the waterproofing being done that stuff is very very strong smell...........

Yes the stairs get done when i get back from Canberra and then have to get the quote off Mark for the carport.............runs the full lenght of the house so wont be cheap roll on lotto win lol

So much for a big work day tradie who was taking up my beautiful tiles cancelled an hr before the waterproofing crew (4 guys) were due to waterproof immediately behind each removal. So the pooch and I vacated premises for nothing last night. Typical but we wanted the ballistrade back before the little miss arrives. Now waiting for this guy to reschedule and hope waterproofing crew can fit in with him! In the meantime may have to arrange for a temporary ballistrade to be made for her safety. Or I guess maybe I can look after her at her own house.
Bit disappointing but no real surprise for the let down.

Oh geez Miss what a mongrel thing to do and that would have thrown out the waterproofing men as well................geez tradies they well words fail me right now.

Im hitting the road super early tomorrow ie Wednesday..........will try and get into post later in the day when i get to Armidale god willing........but this dammed dongle plays up getting into ebay so will put something up on facebook

Geez i hope those tradies show.......................and or you can get another tradie to do the tile removal
