Hundreds of demonstrators across Australia have broken social distancing rules to protest against vaccinations, 5G and the coronavirus pandemic.   

Protesters gathered at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on Saturday and claimed the global COVID-19 health crisis was a 'scam'.

There are more than five-million cases of coronavirus cases across the globe and at least 350,000 people have died. Australia has recorded more than 7,000 infections and the death toll sits at 103 following the successful implementation of social distancing restrictions. 

Brazen demonstrators also carried signs declaring they were against vaccines and 5G technology.

All this mask- wearing, hand-washing, quarantining, border-closing, lockdowning hasn't stopped Corona-virus either, though has it? Nor will a vaccine, really. A vaccine may simply mean it It will lessen your symptoms, or lessen your chances of becoming infected.
We're going to have to learn to live with it, eventually.
Closing down world economies is is much more life-threatening.

It's stopped it in Western Australia. The only cases we've had in the last 288 days have been blowins from other states/countrieswho were  already in quarantine. 

And our economy is doing very nicely, thank you.

Yes, people who learn to live with it may survive. But people who fail to learn may not. The economies will bounce back as they always do. But dead people do not.

Very good point icyfroth! While the destruction of the economy and the financial well-being, apparently in anticipation of the rush-job vaccine continues, effective treatments have been criminally overlooked. The overwhelming majority of people that get Corona Virus survive. Many many more of that small percentage that die would be alive if  effective early treatment was given.

The U.S. Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) recently updated its estimated Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) parameters to include age-specific data showing the vast majority of people who contract the Chinese coronavirus survives.

CDC’s new IFR estimates broken down by age are part of the agency’s September 10 update to its “COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Scenarios.”

Based on the “Scenario 5: Current Best Estimate” for the IFR, Breitbart News confirmed the updated age-specific survival rates: 0-19 years old, 99.997 percent; 20-49 years old, 99.98 percent; 50-69 years, 99.5 percent; and 70 years old or older, 94.6 percent.

Sky News host Chris Smith says there are potential treatments for the deadly coronavirus “staring at us in the face” but they’re being wholly ignored.

Mr Smith said the battle against the virus has so far been split between handling the immediate
health costs and the short-to-long-term economic crises.

“The third tranche in this battle is coming up with effective medical treatments and maybe even a vaccine,” he said.

“But I think the entrenched bureaucratic red tape in this country, the slow wheels of the massive health bureaucracy in particular, could be hindering our chances of finishing the job.

Mr Smith pointed to a treatment for coronavirus which has already been tested on patients with close to 90-100 per cent success rate involving a concoction of three drugs: Ivermectin, Doxy-Cycline, and Zinc.

He also spoke of the lack of government funding into a potential vaccine developed by Flinders University in Adelaide.

“We have treatments for this virus starring at us in the face, but they’re being ignored.”

Well, waiting for powers that be  (incompetent IMO ) to present us with an early stage effective treatment in favour of a rush vaccine that is pushed out by a profit driven company in one eighth the time to deem it safe, I would look at something that works.

I notice too you have neglected to mention that Hydroxochlorquine works!

In the US it has been mentioned multiple times that the FDA doesn't always operate in the best interests of the public. These days we live in the age of money talk$$$$$$$$

The point I was making is that just because something is not approved, it doesn't mean it is not effective. Caisse's cure involved natural remedies to fight cancer. A documentary I saw years ago included some stuff about her. A massive pilgrimage of people who were healed came to visit her in her later years.

With respect to the Corona virus, wouldn't effective early stage treatments be better than death or long hospitalization? Telling people to stay at home with no treatment and then sending them to hospital when they are too sick is the wrong approach.
