eg;

* Which meal you have had and what do you like about it?

* Please give a rating between 1 and 10.

* The eatery can be anywhere in the entire universe.

I will kick it off with our most recent discovery which is a hidden gem on Philip Island, Australia.

White Salt Fish and Chips

7 Vista Pl

Cape Woolamai VIC 3925

The food is cooked to perfection and the seafood is locally caught and tastes amazing. This is not your ordinary greasy fish and chips and is better than the so called best place we were eating at nearby. There was no grease on this fish and chips.

This shop allows YOU to salt your own food and they have a selection of sauces to choose from. You can eat in or sit outside and feel the sea breeze from the beautiful waters.

The chips and potato cakes are hand-cut, the batter they use is tempura, they even serve tempura veggies which we will try next time. The flake, scallops, prawns and chips were delicious. We'll try the potato cakes next time too. We haven't had scallops as good as these in years not even when dining in so called 5 star restaurants.

We love this place so much we can't wait to head back to Philip Island.

This shop gets 10/10 from us!

Re: CS Foodies - Hall of Fame

You wont be dissapointed. I went with a group of 8 people and we ordered 14 dishes to share and all had a couple of drinks each and it worked out to about $45 a head, so it wasnt ridiculously expensive I didnt think. We managed to try nearly everything on the menu and all of it was great. It all comes to your table at random intervals rather than all at once so you tend to sit around there chatting and grazing on smaller amounts of food rather than tucking into a big meal.

This place https://www.facebook.com/phuvinh.noodles?sk=reviews is my most favouritist vietnamese noodle shop in the whole of Melbourne.  The flavour of their broth is unique too all the other pho I have ever tried.  The dry egg noodles with seperate soup and vermicelli with pork belly are two of the best noodle dishes I have ever eaten.  Give them a go if you are ever in the vacinity of Footscray or Sunshine.
