from our website:

the 3rd โ€“ Hoganโ€™s Hole

โ€œFamous internationally Naroomaโ€™s 3rd hole is one that must be played at least once in a golferโ€™s lifetimeโ€

Melville Proud โ€“ Executive Officer NSW PGA

Wow! What a spectaclar setting! I can see why it would earn such acclaim.

Reminds me of the famous 16th hole at Cypress Point in Carmel, California.

Have you heard of Paul Hogan (aka Crocodile Dundee)?

Oh absolutely ๐Ÿ™‚ Hogan is brilliant! His original comedy show first turned up in the states on a local Los Angeles TV station in the early 1980s, and I've been a fan ever since ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks to that original show I've also had a 30 plus year long crush on Delvene Delany ๐Ÿ˜„
It's probably just as well I live in the U.S. If I was in her vicinity I imagine she'd have filed a number of restraining orders against me by now LOL ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ha ha! Yes on both counts ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course you can't really play pitch and run shots across it because of that sponginess. You have to learn to play lob and flop shots.

That Santa Anna Couch has a very attractive look.

Learning the flop shots has come in handy here as you can leave yourself short on a number of holes.

Santa Anna does look good and its good to play off,(as long as the divots are filled in),stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

Ah, that's not so bad. I dream of breaking 80. I think my best ever has been 82, and I've done that twice.

I played today - very badly ๐Ÿ˜ข
Only managed 26 points I'm afraid. Just 1 wipe but way to many 1 pointers.
Ah well, it was a beautiful day and th company was very good.

We have our Open Tournament here this Sunday. I'm the VC and handicapper so I've got a bit on my plate atm.

'Once upon a time, it was de rigueur for American professional golfers to visit Ireland to practice on links courses ahead of the British Open.' Philip Reid; Cink Honed His Game On Irish Links Courses The Irish Times (Dublin) July 21, 2009.

That's another "bad" round out of the way so you should be due for a good one, good.gif

Played nine holes today on the par 33 course,(34 of the stick for a 32 nett).

Playing Saturday and Sunday this week,(if I could only take that over and score like that for the 18 holes),blush-1.gif
