Re: CS Golfers Thread - post your scores here, good or bad

Home again from our week away. Scores across the week weren't good, but I did manage to snag a win on Thursday.
Over the week we (OH and I) had 2 group wins each, a couple of NTPs, my tourney win on Thursday, scored 5 balls and $160 in side bets. Not a bad week all in all.

I'm down to play on Wednesday, but think I may give it a miss. Lots of jobs to catch up on around home and a bit of time off the course wouldn't be a bad thing ๐Ÿ˜•

Good result all up,(it's always good to come away with something),good.gif

I played a nine hole ambrose yesterday,(we had 36 of the stick on the first nine of the lakes course for

32 and a half nett and won the comp),Corny_cleaning-glasses.gif

A break can be good,(as long as there isn't too much work involved),blush-1.gif

Played a Stableford round for the monthly medal today and I won with 38 points,(so I now have 7 "flags" in a row

on Golf Link and my handicap is slowly coming back down),good.gif

That's an impressive streak tazz. Well done.
Do you play stableford for the Monthly Medal? Ours are always stroke.

I played today for a nett 82. Very disappointing because I had a disaster in a bunker on the 15th and then lost by only a couple of shots.
I did play with the men's MM winner though. He shot 70/66, which was a delight to watch.

Thanks,give_rose.gif

Yes it was MM in a Stableford format,(it's got something to do with our new score cards),Who knows.gif

Ouch !,nett 82,(then losing by couple hurts),crying.gif

Bunkers is one thing that I don't seem to have trouble with of late,(but I have had disasters in the past)good.gif

It is always good watching a low marker shoot a great score, good.gif

You can have either the pewter mug or a medal now for the monthly medal,(I got the medal as I have no use for

the mug).

All up I won a shirt, the medal and the card for 55 cent pots for a month,Sunnies.gif

Woohoo! Good for you. That's a pretty flash looking medal.
I'm still out of the loop atm. I have got so much else going on I just can't seem to get on to the course regularly. Hopefully things will settle down soon and I can get back into it.

35 points yesterday to win the women's division of one of our annual events. My first game in ages so I'm pretty pleased. I did wipe the last hole thoug. If I'd scored even 2 points on it I may have won the overall event.
I'm still a bit hampered by the injury to my foot so am in a cart, which I really don't like, but it's the only way I can play atm.
I'm booked in to play next Saturday, so we'll see how that goes.
