As originally written, then as an experiment, I changed the pronouns from he to she/ hime to her...
This stuff is not exclusive to one gender, if thats the point- its controlling behaviour.
Some people can see a bigger picture- 'hey, thanks for going to the supermarket, Ill get dinner on'..and sometimes a person can be unreasonable- 'why the hell didnt you read my mind'..but the frustration ought to be able to be controlled, and let go of- if not, there may be something else going on entirely..
And, of course, you already know the answer regarding abuse- yes, there is physical abuse, emotional abuse and psychological abuse.
If you are asking about this, and perhaps even experiencing it, or know someone who is, its probably good advice to withdraw from the situation if possible, and find someone professional to talk to about it.
