I can now as I have learnt to enjoy a nice cup of tea. Occasionally I'll go to a cafe with a friend for a coffee but because of the water having chemicals, the visits are fewer these days. There's a couple of coffee jars at home and they get used but for me, these days, tea is the morning kick start.
I know of many people who need their coffee and some wouldn't be functional without it.

There is just as much water in a cup of tea as in a cup of coffee.
With tea I usually make it myself as well as the occasional coffee. When having a coffee on the out-and-about, the water has fluoride and chlorine etc.. Home tea is pure water.
And a nice cup of tea starts the day just fine.

Absolutely. Coffee is THE most disgusting thing on the planet. I can barely walk past a cafe because the smell of it makes me want to barf. Evil, evil, evil stuff.

Nah, that won't help
And actually you are right, coffee has a disgusting taste - I load mine with sugar, in fact I bet it's the sugar I am addicted to!
See, you can learn stuff here

Instead of just asking if we can live without coffee, bob should have asked something more open ended, as in eg what could we live without? That may have been more instructional.
