Expert here LOL
So my sister starts chemo tomorrow ๐
This is on the liver, if there are over 3 tumours/ bits/ cancer spots then its chemo, not surgery.
She has 10.
So chemo for 3 months - is this normal time?
Then check again to see whats happening.
Someone here told me they dont give a life/ death date, they did here. They said of chemo works then its 5 years.
I didnt ask whats happens if chemo doesnt work?.............
They not doing anything about the bowell but I dont know what this means.
Fingers crossed xx

The war department had two incidences of breast cancer (radiation) then chemo for cervical cancer (8 years ago) the cancer has remained in remission since then, but the chemo killed her hearing, and for a surgical nurse that put an end to her career.

Hope all goes well and she isn't too sick. Do you have some caps or a wig ready? she might lose her hair.
3 months is usual but depends on the drugs being used.
As for the 5 years, sometimes they word it differently. I was told that if I made 5 years without a recurrence I was considered cancer free.
