Why do you need to clean them so soon?
Dry cleaning is the best, you can walk on it as soon as they are done.

My family has had Gastro which the carpet copped it during the night. I have cleaned most of it off but i think it's best to hire a cleaner to make sure they are hygienic after this experience.

Here I was thinking you wanted to get rid of incriminating blood stains :^O
If you can afford it, dry cleaning is the best. When I moved out of my last place, Dryton got stains out of 20+ year old carpet that I couldn't shift with woolwash and warm water.
