Cassette tapes making a comeback thanks to young, independent artists
Not in my house they wont be LOL
Like the vinyl record, you can waste money on them if you want but dont try to convince me they are better than CDs or Hard Drive collections.
i lost count of how many expensive cassette tapes and LPs i had to bin cos they either became a tangled up mess inside my player or got too warm and warped.

I'd better keep some pencils handy
Reminds me of the mess when my first Betamax video tape got chewed up and wrapped around and around the heads of the video player (not even video recorder mind you)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah, the 80's

i believe, these things are best kept as memories, or bad dreams on the road to the digital age. lol

For me the only thing good about vinyl LPs were the covers.
maybe had they invented a CD the same size as an LP just so they could still come in a large cardboard cover would have been good?
still, i wouldnt be able to put 35,000 songs in my pocket and take them with me.

I have a record player that dupes CD's from my vinyl. What is sad, that despite taking care of them, the sound quality is an abomination. My very first 45 was given to me by my Uncle. "Jealous Heart" by Hank Snow, with "Tennessee Stud" on the flip side. That was the only C/W record I ever owned.
