make sure you write all the arrangements down and have him sign it........wouldn't want him turning up later for things that he promised you, or going behind your back to get bond back.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Well doing on fixing the pool problem yourself! Although if you find pool maintenance too taxing you could always invest in a pool boy. A little eye candy never hurt anyone!

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

We are going to walk around the house, room by room, and civilly ( ๐Ÿ˜ฎ :^O ) make a list of what he's taking and yes I'll get him to sign it.

I also want to be here when he does start packing stuff into his car. He's going to have to get a mate to help him life those heavy sofa's and big screen TV.

Hopefully The Universe will provide enough wealth for me to hire Pepe Le Pool Boy and Mike the Mower Man. ๐Ÿ˜„

Good job.........

Let's hope the heavens open up and let rip on moving day and he ends up with a soggy sofa and a drenched telly:^O

I'd go further than getting the house keys back (too easy for him to make copies prior to moving out) - are you able to get the locks changed?

I know this is extra expense for you, but worth it for the peace of mind?

Also, I would make sure you are there on "moving out" day (even if you have to take time off work), with a supportive friend (preferably male if possible). That way you can ensure he doesn't take things he shouldn't be.

Get a big wall calendar, mount it somewhere very prominent (i.e., on the fridge) and circle his "moving out" day in a great big red circle. Mark each day ended with a great big red cross - maybe mark the day after "moving out" day with a brightly coloured "woo hoo, party day".

:^O Great minds think alike. Already planning that .. must get myself a big red texta.

I doubt he'll start taking things he's not supposed to. He wants me to be Plan B. He even mentioned, with tears starting to form, that he'll 'miss' the big city and he loves it here and may decide to come back. He doesn't want to burn his bridges :^O
