Your last post was especially insightful, and it is so wonderful that you are able to use this experience in a positive way and that you can already feel yourself growing. You sound strong.

Yes I can understand that little "punch"....... our mind plays little tricks on us, so that even when we know in our heart that an unpleasant experience is happening, a tiny part of us ignores the fact.

The 19th will be hard, there is no doubt. There is also no doubt in my mind that you will get through it:)

I'm sure there's a part of me that still thinks it's just all a bad dream. It's only been 6 weeks. It's a lot to take in and process.

Cat:-x, you seem to be doing a fiar amount of 'cleansing' (toxic friends/relationships) etc. It's funny how things just happen. I mean I'm sure you knew before hand this frienship was a bit toxic - although it seems(from what you have said) that the friendship has disolved while the potato head issue came up. So true, that you really do see and realise who your friends are in a crisis. I've learnt the hard way too. (I am guessing most of us have at some time) ....

What I mean is that maybe all this had to happen all at once for you to really get on with things. For the Better - for you. Lets face is, loosing a friend, partner is difficult even if they were toxic to us. It takes strength to do it. It's easy to just sit and do nothing. (And we end up paying the conscequences later).

I have always beleived, that all stuff happens for some reason. And often we dont see that - we are all looking at things from a 'human' point of view - cause most of us ARE human! Like how many times have we had a bunch of bad stuff happen all at once? And we stand back and say "WTF!!??" How much can I take!!!??? I still beleive that all these things happen just the way they need too. The way WE NEED THEM TOO. Even if it is not clear to us at the time.

I still have complete confidence, faith & trust that you will come out of this living better than you have known for some time. And we will all be here, saying "See!!" 😄 And to cheer you allong the way. You WILL get there. And no one will care if you have a lounge or not!! 😄 (not the peeps that matter anyway)

It's great that you will have support for M day. So Feb 19 was it? Well that is only a few days after OK day - so I am guessing all that cosmic karma from all the crazy powerful women here wearing orange undies getting even MORE empowered on the day will still be strong enough to get you through Feb 19th. Maybe You should wear your own orange undies on that day too! Let them be your Power Undies!!! :^O

At least know that you will be on own minds that day. Be strong baby!! :-x
