Cat I have been popping in this week mostly to keep track of how you are doing. I have been thinking of you all day and have drawn strength from your strength. You are truly inspirational honey.

Congratulations on your "New Beginning".

There is an old story / fable called "Footprints In The Sand". I know you are not Christian but I truly believe the essence translates across any Faith.

Footprints in the Sand


One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, is when I carried you."

Miss kitty mioux, just calling by to say 'thinking of you' it was a sucky way how he left, but any way would have ended sucky to be honest.

thinking of you and sending you warmth and light blessings, it hurts but little by little , step by step
the pain will ease and a new chapter in your life will present itself.

just remember to breathe and its all in the orange undie power! its OK.

I've just come home from work, put air in my air mattress, covered it with a quilt and threw scatter cushions on top. This is my new sofa :^O

I've opened up the house for the kitties (nonads banned them from half the house) and they have been running up and down the stairs and exploring!

I did okay at work except for the big thumper of a tension headache right across my forehead (shovelled down Panadol and Mersyndol) and only cried once when my boss gave me such a look of compassion . Then he kept apologising for making me cry. But it was only for a few seconds. :^O

I have been reading everything you have all posted including lyrics and poems. Laughed at the bears and kitty counting cookies .... you truly are extraordinary women. Welcome to those who posted today for the first time. :-x

I'm going to show my Buddhist teacher this thread and all my gifts, cards and emails. She will be rapt! For a few reasons I believe. If I'm an inspiration to even just one person by example ... that is a true blessing.
My suffering has brought out the Buddha Nature in people (compassion). I bet there will be other reasons I haven't thought of yet.

You got there, you are one strong womyn.....he couldn't face to say goodbye cos he don't know where hes going, his future atm looks bleak.....and yours, well, what a powerful womyn to be reckoned with...*high five*
keep going with the chanting, comfort yourself, keep your power gifts close, rearrange the furniture or change the rooms around, it is now your and your kitties home, and keep busy...

I'm actually starting to feel excited! Tomorrow I'm going to clean the house and ring my Buddha bowl to clear the air in every room.

I don't think I'll feel too lonely because I've been lonely anyway with nonads playing on FB 24/7 and withdrawing affection for the last 7 months. And the lack of tension in the house is wonderful!

I think I'm really gonna be okay!
