Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Well I am glad to hear that my kitty "Angels" antics caused some amusement!  (He IS a bit of a clown.  But he's a boy - so he can't help it!  That is my excuse for all of his behavioural oddness.  Seems to fit all situations.  And I don't have to use the little brain power I have to think up different excuses each time he does something dumb)  🙂

YCDI, no I'm in Adelaide but it's still cooling down here at night.  Although we are having fabulous daytime weather.  B-)

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Jack, I LOVE Louise Hay.  She is wonderful!  Very wise woman.

I also agree with you about fresh air and getting out is great for the soul.  And especially to watch a dog jumping around, expressing his happiness all over the place!  :^O  Animals are just wonderful creatures to be around, they remind us that they beleive we are special JUST AS WE ARE!

As for the greeneyed monster YCDI, we all have our special qualities.  You cannot compare yourself to anyone else because you are unique!  You have your own specialness!!!  Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that.  :-x

Jack that was a wonderful comment you made about your work today was fulfilling!  That's so great!  I hope to find that soon.  🙂

Hello one and all  ~~~~~~ *waves frantically*

Apologies for not being in here for   a g e s 😞

Higs and hugs to everyone and a big special one for YCDI  :-x

What a wonderful achievement to sell such an obviously gorgeous wedding gown for the big $$'s, especially when they are having a 'low key' wedding.

I have loved everyone's posts, but I don't know that I will remember them all to reply individually.

Loved the story about 'Angel' and his antics.  Loved Ms Jacks cuddle for making pancakes.

Good luck re the security and the Police and your job Ms Jacks.

MsCat, well done to you for enjoying your holidays and getting full benefit from them.

Yes, I want to know the  changes too.  ]:)

All the best to Miss Kitty and J on the move to their new abode.

The seat sounds wonderful. The leg will sort itself out.  😄

Imaging, they are moving just AFTER Damien's new album comes out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rsMY_m-Zic check out .55 mark  :^O

6 days to go  :-x

MrBraff had his stitches out and there were 28.  He is OK.

GOOD NEWS FOLKS:

Alicia was released from hospital/rehab and taken home last night by an Occupational Therapist.  The OT had to check out her place to make sure it would be suitable  for her before she left Alicia there.

The only problem was the number of steps to the back yard.  She is not allowed to go there  but Alicia's hubby does the washing so that problem was resolved.

She is now an out patient and has to go back 3 times a week for treatment and therapies.

This  all started 12 weeks ago on Monday.

Alicia's hubby isn't well either.  He had an MRI the other day and he has now been put on stronger medication, so I hope he continues to stay strong for Alicia.

They have had such a bad run with health issues.

Great news though that she is home.  😄

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

Hi MIA  *waves*

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi lovelies..

I havent been able to post for a while as my puta has had 'issues' and hubs had his lappy at work! But I have been reading and keeping up! X

Yesterday we went to a Wedding. It was so lovely and I have been feeling really happy & joyous today, was a nice flow on effect from a beautiful couple in love. ♥

Tomorrow is Samantha's Naming Day and we have all been busy busy busy with the preparations! There are about 50/60 guests in a small community hall nearby that my lil sis is

I have cooked 5kgs spicy meatballs & 2 HUGE lasagnes (from Hub's work- not homemade).

I also have the fried rice & creamy pasta salad to organise in the morning.

Cant wait to see the cake, it's a surprise designed by my mum and made by a friend of the family.

Samantha is wearing the Christening dress that I was also Christened in nearly 40 years ago (then both of my sisters and my eldest daughter 15 yrs ago), its vintage and has shades of white/off white, but very lovely. We have updated the old bonnet with a very classy looking little headband, will post some pics in a few days.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi everyone!

I had a long post typed out today but my computer froze and I lost it!

Jacks - If you haven't been called into the managers office by now I think you're safe! As you said it wasn't entirely your fault ( I suspect it wasn't your fault at all!). Don't be so hard on yourself sweets :-x

Blacksheepy your snuggly kitty is a walking purring heat pack :^O

YCDI - banish that green eyed elf. The Universe is made up of infinite possibilities and there is more ideas, projects, awards and opportunities than anyone can ever dream of. You are unique and no one else has your special gifts. :-x

Ms Braff fantastic news about Alicia. She must be so happy to finally be home. She has been so brave and courageous. PS Ummm how many days to Mr Leiths new album again? 😉

Kylie I hope you are enjoying little Samantha's Naming Day today and the sun is shining!

Changes at work? Well .. there are new computer systems, new policies (some are crapola, some are of some benefit), 2 people left, one got sacked, and two people were shifted into different positions. I've been told I'm now ready to start making "executive decisions" (eekkk!). And now I'm also handling website enquiries, as well as being 2IC, as well as mentoring, coaching, liasing ....

Nice of them to decide all this while I was on holidays!

I've also decided not to work my butt off either. I was running around today like a crazy woman doing 3 things at once. I stopped in my track and took myself outside for a breather.

Miss Kitty has decided to finish her seat in her new home cos I cracked it when I saw she was doing carpentry in the hallway on the polished floorboards! I told her she could finish it outside but she tossed her head and said it would "be more fun in her own place cos you worry too much".

okay  :^O

Hugs to all!

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Kylie...I can't wait to see pics of Samantha and her cake. What a special day for you all :-x

Braff...Whoa...that's a lot of stitches. I hope he is healing well and not near as sore now. Fantastic news for Alicia and I hope her hubby's health improves too :-x

youcan, I do trust you are using some better self talk to yourself and feeling strong and more confident, capable and happy. :-x

Waves and hugs to my2 🙂

Animals are wonderful things. My Miss Kiara Kitty is getting on a bit and has decided to pee in the laundry at night, It REEKS!!!  (she has never done this until recently) so for the first time since she came to live with us, today I bought a litter tray  😞    I feel sad because she is getting older.

Ms. Cat.. it sounds like you are well respected and valued at work. So glad you can recognise that being run off your feet is not in your best interests. Sure there are days that are busier than others, but take care of yourself first! :-x

Have a great day everyone, I've been grocery shopping and I'm ready to put feet up now until my children come home from their dads. They are coming home with a home cooked meal for me 🙂 I'm so spoilt

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

What type of work do you do blacksheep?

Hi Jack, I normally do admin/office work but I was recently laid off so I am looking for another job at the mo.  But the last job was probably the worst job on the planet! 😐  It was certainly a blessing to be let go.  I wasn't unhappy because of the TYPE of work - it was the staff and lack of management, bad attitudes etc.  As it turned out that part of the business has closed down, I'm not at all surprised.

I seriously would love to find a job that is fullfilling, with great people etc.  I'm thinking I'm still a little jaded by my last job though.  Although I have applied to do some volunteer work at the Animal Welfare League - I'm looking forward to that.  :-x

Lots of great news here today!  Weddings, baby naming, peeps getting better/coming home etc!  And sending warm healing thoughts to those who are still battling illness or emotional demons.  :-x

Hugs hugs hugs  :-x:-x:-x

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi Folks,

Goodness - where to start? forgive me if i miss anyone.

Jack, I'm sure you are far too valuable a staff member to lose over one little icident that, by your own account, wasn't even entirely your fault.

Brafff, ARE WE THERE YET? I've lost count of how many more days.:^O

YCDI I think the best way to deal with your feelings is to acknowledge them, understand that that they are just 'there' and not connected with anything real in your life,  and know with certainty that if you hang in there patiently they will pass

I do not suffer from depression but every now and then, for some inexpliccable reason, I wake during the night in a state of panic. It doesn't happen often and when it does I have learnt to say to myself, 'Oh yes, this is my panic thingy; if I just lie quietly it will go away again,' - and sure enough, it always does.
