Hello Lovely OKers :-x
Thank you all for thinking of me. It has been really rough.
Mum's service was held on Thursday. My dad came down from Qld on Wednesday and is leaving tomorrow so I haven't really had a chance for some 'me' time.
It turns out that I did most of the organising for the service. Here I was thinking I would be lucky to be consulted but instead was the organiser. My cousins helped a lot with slideshow, music and a program which turned out wonderfully.
Miss 15 went missing last Sunday night and is reported to police. She has missed her grandmas funeral which she will no doubt later, never forgive herself for.
So sad right now. 😞

Jacks it makes me happy to hear you were able to organise your beloved Mum's service without conflict and interference. Feel good knowing your Mum would be very proud of you.
I'm sorry your Miss 15 is giving you a hard time just when you really need her support. 😞
Lots of hugs Jacks ♥
It seems so many people are having a rough time lately. Be strong because this too shall pass.

Oh CJ I am also glad to hear that your mums service happened with out any drama. And I'm glad you had some help too.
I'm assuming by your post when you said Miss 15 went missing that you are sure she is OK? Well, whatever the situation, I hope she comes home as soon as possible and things chill out a bit. At least long enough so that you can have a bit of a breather.
Look after yourself :-x
Nothing much going on at my end of the world, and I'm a little bored! I've got another week before I start my job so I thought I should use this time to work on my mums birthday pressie.... I'm painting a beach scene but it will be a beach view from a window. B-) I'm hoping it will look like you are looking out the window and you can see the beach from mums home. If it comes out OK and I'm feeling good about it, I might post a pic of it. I should get off my butt and start it tomorrow. 🙂
Oh I just realised that is exactly what I need to get my mojo back. Just been feeling a bit flat lately, didn't really know how to get out of it. Looks like the universe is telling me this is what I need to be doing. Goodo! 😄
I've done my tax already and I'm gonna splurge a bit on myself. Dunno what exactly I will splurge on but it will be some serious retail therapy! Oh speaking of that, I bought my hellcat a new fandangled litter box today. He hates it already! :^O 😐 I'm quite sure he is spawn of the devil. Hmph. Can't fight evil! 😄

Hi lovely ladies!
OMG Blacksheepy you meddled with kitty's toileting apparatus!
😮
I'd love to change my kitties litter to Breeders Choice rather than the expensive and 'really ouchy if you tred on it in barefeet on the way to the bathroom at 3am' crystal litter. But oh no. They refuse to use it. I'd also like to replace the litter trays because they are starting to pong no matter how much I clean them. But they have specific needs for a high topped blue litter tray which I haven't seen in the shops lately. *sigh*
Painting is the perfect anecdote to feeling flat. 🙂
I've been feeling flat too lately. I wish there was more in my life than just working working working.
Hugs to Cuddly and Mrs Braff and Kylie and all whom lurk.
Special hugs for Jacks.

* Hangs head in shame *
Yep I am a bad Mum! I admit I did mess around with the kitty toileting aparatus!! 😮
Although he's used it. So I am very happy with him. 😄 But he wouldn't go in there with the door on, so I've had to take door off. Maybe I will try putting it on later once he's used to noo aparatus! (Unless that makes me a even badder parent!? What if I bribe him with goodies? I'm sure that will make me a betterer mum! He doesn't understand the badness of bribery, so what does it hurt, really!?) 😄
I laughed at your description of stepping on the crystals at 3am while on a loo run! I hear ya! My kitty luckily seems to prefer the cheap litter and doesn't seem to kick it around as much. 🙂 I guess he not so possessed ALL the time! :-x
I'm sure I will be feeling the 'wish there was more to my life than work work work' too when I start up again. It's so hard to get motivated to change that when you are tired from working! (That's the situation for me anyway) Bit of a catch 22 I suppose. 😐
Hugs everyone! :-x Stay warm and cuddle a fur baby or even a real baby if you need some warmth!!! 😉

Kitty used his noo apparatus? Well done kitty! *claps hands*
I had to take the door off too. I have no idea where the door is now. Beau jumps in, twirls around a few hundred times then stick his head out and does his piddle, scratches around for ages then jumps out and leaps about like a spring lamb all pleased with himself.
Pene is such a little lady. She'll use the tray delicately and without fuss.
Thai plonks himself in the tray, piddles like a waterfall then jumps straight out. No doing that sissy stuff like covering his business. Oh and if he feels like it he'll poop on the floor right outside the hooman toilet. 😐

Been offline for a bit due to my teens running down the download during the school hols, couldnt load anything at all, so now Im at work and catching up on emails, CS etc. LoL
C*J... Hope your daughter is ok? 😞
Ive been feeling a little flat too these days! A bit overwhelmed with such a busy life Id say? But on the other hands I feel happy (not depressed) if that makes sense??
Both girls had their ears pierced last week no probs with either, and they are really cute! Samantha had her pics done and she is adorable!!
It's been a BIG 'milestone' week for Samantha, ears pierced, rolled over onto her beely sucessfully 3 times now and had her carseat turned forward!! Today is her "half" birthday! 6 months old!! it's gone so quickly!!
Hugs and wishes to all that post & lurk! XXX

Just a very quick Hi to everybody. Been busy wrapping parcels etc after being so crook with the rotten "BUG".
CJ, glad to hear you were able to organise the funeral and it went well - I think it's a good part of the grieving process organising a funeral. Most are so different these days and not all morbid.
So sorry to hear about your daughter though - praying all will work out for her and you.
Seems like everybody is a bit "down" - I think it's Winter - I usually feel down this time of the year with it getting dark and cold so early. Having the "bug" made me feel more "Down"!
Not long now and Spring will be here!!!
