I'm taking all your advice on board!

I slept really well last night. I wasn't afraid at all. There were times I felt a little lonely about getting up to an 'empty' house but then I reminded myself of all the cleaning and cleansing I have to do today and my teacher visiting later this afternoon.

I checked the pool. Nonads had let it turn green again X-( But that's easily fixed. Will buy chlorine tomorrow.

The 'sofa' idea isn't working out. I think it has a leak cos it's too squishy and ends up folding around me when I sit on it :^O I might start checking eBay and spending some of my 'gift'. :-x

My headache is gone yay!

I remember when my divorce came through years ago - the little niggling headache I'd had on and off for months went away.. Glad you had a good night MsMioux.. I was thinking you would have been having a lovely restful sleep with no fears about what you might wake up to with Mr Grumpy Nonads in the house :^O

ahhhh but what keelia said is very Buddhist. The Buddha says it is better to climb the mountain as it makes you stronger. Walking around in circles at the base of the mountain does not challenge you. 😄 He said it better though.

lind I'm going to chant for a new sofa. 😄 I'm also looking for a small dining room table/vintage desk because they are great to use as unique coffee tables if you saw the legs short. I had one before nonads bought a new one (and took with him).

Yes I did mean it the way Ms Mioux explained it .... to me when you are at the bottom (i.e. despair and hurt) the only place to go is up......

I hadn't actually heard that quote before Ms M, but yes very good, who wants to walk around in circles...:^O

I bought a second hand and rather grotty futon for our sunroom - very basic with metal folding frame and mattress. To spruce it up, I bought two pillows which double as armrests, a doona cover for the mattress and two matching pillow slips. I now have a very smart looking piece of furniture.
