I wish I could give you one. What sad news that email brings. I hope you believe you're doing the right thing by cutting ties. There is nthing to be gained in a relationship, what ever for it takes, with that man.
At least the other fella knows and I wish him some peace out of all this mess as well.

How very sad for everyone involved. Nobody wins.

And I hope one day her poor husband realises what a low life he's married to and finds a better life for himself but that's his choice too.

His email was a lengthy one, he did also admit and say he was sorry he was so nasty to me. He said he needed to justify his affair so he cowardly made me his focus for his guilt = anger.

That felt sincere.

When I think of him, he feels like a stranger. So many lies.

Cat. At least you don't have to wonder about what is truth and what is lies anymore.

He hurt you more than he needed to and that was so unnecessary and to me, is unforgivable.

I hope this brings you a little peace and helps you to move on to a brighter future with the loving, caring people you have around you (and maybe a special extra one :)).

I think he is sincere,in his own way..

The trouble is,that his sincerity is mashed up with lies he has to make to justify behaving weakly..

Its a shame,but he is not a burden of yours.

I am pleased that he did make the effort to reply to your Qs..That would have taken some time and effort on his part,so perhaps(in the future,when he grows up?:|)he may be able to reflect on what he has said/done and continues to be involved with.

It is rather strange,the other side,though.One could expect the other Mr would be hypervigilant..Very sad,but he will realise sooner or later and have other decisions to make.

You sound as though there is some resolve,and for that I am very pleased for you:-x

dtrh He did answer some of my questions, as truthfully as he is capable of, and gave me a time line of the affair. That did take some effort and thought.

He could have repeated the lie that he wasn't in contact with her, as he said in a previous email. I truly believe this man re-writes his truth to suit the image of himself at the time.
