There is no right or wrong here Jacks. What you feel is what you feel. I'd still wait for an update from the hospital or your brother. This could mean anything from calling your dad later when he's home and laughing about his attack of "indigestion", making arrangements to fly up later in the week or month to visit, or flying up tonight/tomorrow.

There is no point panicking until you have more information. :-x

He's in coronary care at a hospital I found him in! He's stable but further tests are to be done. :-x According to my brother, at the hospital I am his primary contact. I hope they ring me soon then. My brother could hear our dad in the background.

((((hugs)))) Jacks. So long as the hospital has your number and you are his primary contact you will be kept updated.

I crashed my car into a letterbox when first told my Dad had a heart attack. I think they need to see how much damage was done, breath tests and so forth. Hospitals treat any heart ailment very seriously. He is in the best place try not to worry so much.

As for Miss 14 .... she's a teenager and they are always inappropriate

Thanks guys. :-x Tests show he has had a heart attack and has inflammation of the heart..there is no heart disease (surprising as he has smoked heavily for almost his entire life). I will call the hospital in one hour if they have not called.

No heart disease is very very good. He will get alot of lectures on diet and health before he leaves
