Hello Cuddly - :-x back atcha ๐
MsCat, how you are feeling is similar to people who have been working all year and then when they take holidays their bodies go all funny and they feel unwell.
I had a lightbulb moment today when I was in the shower.
I have always liked this thread. The people in this thread are nice, they don't judge. They let people have a vent, they support.
You all know this anyway because you are all OK'ers.
My lightbulb moment was that NONE of you tell me to get a life with all my ravings about a certain singer. You let me be. If you are not interested, then you just don't comment. I don't get nasty comments back.
I know I am obsessed, but he is my hobby for want of a better word. I don't smoke or drink. I get great enjoyment from his concerts. He is a charming young man who was so kind to me when my mother passed away. I am not a relative (or a stalker), but I do attend as many concerts that I can. He knows me and I usually get a wink from the stage in recognition. That makes my night.
Anyway, for all your kindness to me in allowing me to be all fangurly I say THANK YOU :-x:-x

Good morning OKers :-x
Kylie! Any day now.....starts drum roll ๐
So happy for you Cat that miss Lucy and J are with you this Christmas. And isn't it amazing how our body's do exactly what we tell them?
Braff. You have a fab hobby and I love it! How special it must be for him to wink at you from stage. No wonder you are gaga for him :-x
dtrh - retailworld is ugh. Sometimes I really love it and sometimes it's just nasty. I'm ignoring the nasty staff members and appreciating the nice ones. Retail is madness at the moment. I don't even want to go shopping myself because I've had enough by the time I finish work. How are you?
James sent me spinning after work the other day said, "look at this mum" and it was him on his bike doing huge jumps and tricks. Asked when was this taken...he says "today" Not happy. He's not fully recovered yet. Dr. says when he can do 10 push ups without hurting, he'll be healed. Good news is that his movement in his thumb has returned. He wants to buy a road motorbike now X-(
Looks like today may be the day when I rid my roof of naughty mina birds (fingers crossed)
Higs and hugs to everyone else in the realm of OK :-x

Hi gorgeous OK'ers :-x
Kylie, Cuddly, dtrh, crazy *waves*!
MsCat, how you are feeling is similar to people who have been working all year and then when they take holidays their bodies go all funny and they feel unwell.
Ms Braff I think you are spot on with this. I worked hard doing it all 'myself' and now I just want to curl up and sleep and rest. But I shook off that feeling and made 2 huge Vege Lasange's, the first home cooked meal I've made for S & J since they have been back and they loved it. J had two helpings. :^O
S & J took little Beau to the Vets this morning for me because it's always so traumatic for me to leave him. I stayed curled up in bed. I miss him so much!
Ms Braff I love this thread too. There is no judgement here. And I love it that you support Mr Damo. He deserves it!
PS My Sally and I were at the chemist yesterday when she picked up a little book on the counter "100 baby names" and she said she should take it home to scare J. Well my ears pricked up! It turns out J really wants to get married but Sally says she isn't ready (he is 4 years older than her). But they are obviously talking about it! :-x
Oh and J's mum is coming to Australia from the UK in March for 10 days! I really like her so that's exciting! I sometimes feel 'guilty' that her son is now living in Oz. I know she misses him very much.
jacks James is very naughty! But he sounds like a typical young male thinking they are invincible. I'm curious as to how your mina bird problem is going to be solved?
Hugs to all!

How exciting Cat. Your clan may be growing very soon :x
Try not to worry...Beau will be home soon and looking very displeased with you :^O
Landlord is meant to have the rotted fascia boards replaced today (has not happened yet X-() to stop the birds nesting in my roof.
Miss 19 crazy didn't tell me someone ran up the back of her car at a set of lights on the weekend. I drove in my driveway and her bumper bar is scratch and cracked and her taillights are broken on one side. And because my daughter falls just outside the spectrum for a diagnosis of aspergers, it should have been no real suprise that but did not take details of the lady who hit her and did not tell us or the insurance company ๐
Fortunately the lady who hit her was an honest person and did the right thing. So just as I found out and was questioning my daughter about the details, the other lady's insurance company phoned ๐ Thank you Universe

Oh Jacks thank goodness your daughter was not injured! And as you say luckily the woman who rear ended her car is a decent person. You really do have your hands full don't you jacks! :^O :-x
Hopefully the Landlord will get the job done before Xmas. I'm still waiting for my Landlord to trim the overhanging tree branches that are knocking off the roof tiles. And it's been weeks. *shrugs*.
Yes Beau will be displeased and nekid :-x

Thank you Cat :-x That is a lovely compliment

Oh and I hope you get your tree trimmed. I have a huge bottle brush tree screaching (psycho movie style) against my roof in the wind. It's so annoying but in your case, surely it is in the landlords best interest to fix shifting tiles. It's their property getting water damaged and soon enough birds nesting in your roof too. ๐
