3 DAYS TO GO

🙂 Talking of 3 days ~ Damien will be on Sunrise that morning. (Friday)  I am hoping he will be singing 'Beautiful' which has been re-recorded and is more piano driven.  I haven't heard the full length version yet.  Would anyone who hears it on the radio please let me know via this thread?  Radio tends not to play Damien's music for some stupid reason.  😞

Damien will also be a guest on Friday night on Young Talent Time.

Ms Cat, I am sure the reason was YOU first and the leek 2nd.  THey were probably wanting and waiting for you to bend down to pick it up  😉

That is wonderful what your sister did.  A true hero.

My sons applied at their work to join the Emergency Response Team.  They were both accepted and so far they have done an intense first aid course, plus they paid extra to do the further training and they are now qualified to use the defibulator etc.  No #2 son has had 3 calls at work in his department to attend a workplace incident and no. #1 son hasn't.  They work in different area.

Next month they do a 4 day Fire training workshop.

They should call on you Ms Jacks, they will be down your way. :^O

Dreams can be quite strange.  I would love to have the ability to interpret them.

That was so nice of J to get MissKitty her own tools and things to help her with making the bench seat.

Mrs Braff I'll keep an ear out for Mr Leiths new song but usually I'm in the car when I listen to the radio so it might be a tad difficult to post :^O

What type of business do your son's work in Mrs Braff?  Learning new skills in the work place is always a benefit.

My new red coat has arrived. What was I thinking??!! 😮 It's so .. well ... bright red! It would certainly stop traffic :^O

I'm going to need confidence to wear it. I've decided the first time I wear it I'll wear a black fitted top and black pants to reduce the glare.

I've decided to start Cat's Health and Beauty programe when the kids move out. (They have piled all their stuff on my treadmill lol). I've really let myself go and I need to lose weight, go on a healthy diet i.e eat more avocardo, nuts, oils .. because my hair is so dry and frizzy. I've been around long enough to know good hair starts with what you eat rather than what products you use. I've been taking a multi-vitamin and fish oil tablets (sorry fishies but the alternatives just do not work as well) for the last month. I'll also start exercising to my Pilates DVD.

Who wants to do this with me? 😄

Ah MsCat your coat sounds so lovely.  My bestie is a red freak.  The majority of her wardrobe is red, her bedroom is red, her kitchen, car, hubbys motor bike plus of course having red numberplates.  She would be so jealous.

That's great about your boys and their safety officer roles but don't jinx me about needed a fire warden. I've had a very ditzy last 2 weeks 🙂

Not as ditzy as my nasty ex MIL who if you remember caused me all kinds of grief, calling me names and my ex and  I had words with her she was abusing her grandparental rights. Well, she asked to have two of my children for the day yesterday and when I came home from work, they told me they went to a funeral :|. This woman is in deep need of serious help. The kids didn't even know the deceased person.  

I love red Cat. I think you will look fab in your coat :-x

The helicopter... sigh... I can almost relate- hubs & son bought the JUMBO sized one and fly it in the backyard, they love it!! They call me out to watch it with them, but that thing could knock you out if it hit!! LoL *BOYS!!!*

Kylie, no travel actually planned - I do have a secret scheme in hand involving a cruise to New Zealand, but it depends on a number of things - including persuading Mr Elephant that he was the one who first thought of it.;-)

I am working on a novel at the moment - it's had a very, very long gestation, but I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of June.

Cat, I have a wonderful picture in my mind of you stopping the traffic - I bet you did it with such panache and lack of embarrassment.:^O

Jacks - seriously? A funeral? I suspect she asked for the kids as an accessary maybe? Or was she nervous and needed her grandchildren? Whatever reason she had it sounds selfish because for the life of me I cannot think of any kids that would choose to go to a funeral of someone they don't even know! And obviously your ex MIL knew she was going to the funeral so she could have at least run it by you and your children first!

I've been chanting every evening before bed. It's lovely sitting there at my altar late a night, with the candle light flickering and chanting to the sacred scroll. It literally glows and I feel so safe and hopeful.

I played a prosperity game on Sunday at work. I had to spend the money I had in my wallet over and over again. I had $70 and in my imagination I spent it on wonderful things like a new cat gym, special soaps from the UK to give to friends, new shoes etc until I'd spent over $400. It was so much fun thinking about what I was going to buy.

Yesterday I bought a big bag of cat food and at the check out I was given a $15 discount! For no reason I could work out. It wasn't on special. I love it when things like that happen!

I'm going to buy a special box today and whenever I see something I really like, as in a magazine or sale catalogue I'm going to cut it out and place it in my "Things that are in my life" box. It's a different version of the Vision Board.
