WT?  ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I haven't seen a wasp for weeks. But I mention my fear in my last post and just now a wasp came buzzing around me while I was sitting outside.

I laughed out loud while running like a crazy woman back inside the house. :^O

Obviously Cat, your thoughts on swasps was noticed and it appeared.

I have been having the worst dreams lately. I think most of what is happening, e.g; the judgemental lady, came into my life because I was dissappointed with myself and I am hiding my smoking to most of my family. It's been on my mind how awful smoking is.

The dream about faeces I will not go into to ๐Ÿ˜

Hi Everybody - a big hello to Braff across the big wide ocean doing what, we don't really know - but promise we won't tell :-x

Thank you all for your kind words about my "Christian" post - glad I didn't come across as one of those Christians who scare people to death.  I have a friend who told me once, that being around me taught her you could be a Christian and be "REALISTIC", plus have a sense of humour - she said it was a breath of fresh air for her.  I took it as a compliment, as I never want to be seen as one of those stuffy old people who are all "Black and White".  I think God has to have a sense of humour - I mean look at us humans and the things we do!!

I laughed about your wasp story, Ms Mioux, I could picture you running for your life.  At least you didn't kill it, so may get some extra Brownie points :^O

CJ - some people can't keep their mouth shut.  We never know what is going on in the life of somebody else, even people we do know. It is so difficult when you are stressed as you are, and so worried, to be able to be in complete control of yourself, even when you know it's wrong. (Hmmm - hope that comes across as the way I mean it LOL).

I used to smoke but was one of the lucky ones who was able to give it up easily - one of my biggest regrets is smoking through 3 pregnancies, even though I was ony a light smoker.  My OH started smoking when he was 8 and of course smoked more as he got older - lots of our friends did way back then!!!

He finally gave up after about 3 tries.  The final straw was when we moved into the house where we are now and our 4 children told him he wasn't going to smoke in the house.  He decided it was becoming pretty foolish when he found himself hiding up the backyard behind the garage having a few puffs, so gave it up then.

I'm sure your dreams are to do with your stress - it is such a hard hard time and my heart goes out to you.  My Mum died in April 2000 with cancer of the pancreas, and I remember the pain in my heart knowing she was going to die.  Fortunately, she didn't suffer many symptoms and died suddenly with a clot on the lung.  Then, I got angry because she went so quickly (I can be so stupid at times) - but realised of course, she and my Dad were spared from a lot more heartache they could have endured.  No matter how old we are, and ,even if our relationship with our Mum wasn't always great, losing your Mum is very hard.  I still miss mine and wish we could have spoken more about her dying but she and Dad never mentioned the word cancer.  I'm sure your Mum's partner is very worried and scared also, but the air may be cleared a bit now, for you both to be able to converse on a different level.

That is such good news about your car, I am thrilled for you and you it must make you feel a little better with that fixed up.

Well once again I'm up too late - must get to bed.

Lots of love to you all and be careful Braff if you run into any counter-spies!!!

morning all you wise ones:-)

cj:-x you must be under enormous stress to return to a habit (smoking)you hate so much..give yourself a break and take it easy..and SOME people really need to mind their own business and not be so judgemental..

you can monitor your own smoking though-what about the old trick of slowly drinking a glass of water when you reach for a cigarette?you could try that,it has worked for friends I know..and they feel hydrated-which helped with their stress..worth a try,I suppose.Am thinking of you and your mum and was really happy for you when I read about getting the new car..

mindtoo-thank you for sharing your story-I find it very interesting how diverse everyones lives are..

higs and hugs to all who visit big shout outs to our secret spy world traveller Braff and MIA.Have a great Monday!

Hi fabulous amazing people!

Jacks as mindtoobusy and YCDI said .. the dreams are reflecting subconcious stress and worry. Before you go to bed write these words down on a piece of paper and place by your bed.

I am loved. My loved ones and I are safe and protected. Everything is unfolding as it should perfectly and effortlessly. I receive comfort and support at all times. All my needs are taken care of immediately.

Big hugs to you Jacks :-x

Hugs to everyone and remember "this too shall pass".

How did soccer go for Young Master Kylie, Kylie? Did Miss 15 enjoy her day to?

Thanks for asking Braff! Both kids had a great weekend! They are such happy children and really enjoy what life has to offer it makes me so happy (and proud) to see them living life to the fullest and with much happiness! โ™ฅ

Mr 13 scored a goal for a 3-0 win! He usually scores 1 goal per game, he's quite a good player- plays a year above his age in Under 14's and they are Division 1, so every game is a challenge!

The coach is a fantastic man who brings in mentors to teach the boys, like former socceroo Marshall Soper (another great man), and former Polish soccer player (as in he played for his counrty!) and they always approach me with such positive things about my sons potential! *proud mum*

Miss 15 LOVES drama and has been in every school musical! This is her last year as she moves onto senior school next year so the whole family will go in support!
She's quite talented and confident onstage (well I may be biased! LoL), she gets chosen for main roles so I guess the Drama teacher likes her too.
With all her extra classes (doing advanced classes for 2 yrs now), she seems to balance everything out well! โ™ฅ

I really like my children as "people" if that makes sense?? They really are growing into great young adults! โ™ฅ

And my little angel girl Samantha, well she is more precious to me than I ever could've dreamed..... I am blessedโ™ฅ

(See new avi pic? Sammy in her Cowboy hat ready to go to her first kids party!)

WOW! That was LONG!!!! hahaha sorry for being one of 'those' mothers!! hehehe

Having a small rant now...

Just took hubby this morning for the final part of his Cornea transplant that was done last year in March. The stitches stay in for at least a year while the anti-rejection drops are used daily.

SO, today the stitches were taken out and Mr 13, Samantha & I were waiting in the coffee shop having breaky when hubs came up to us all finished as it was such a fast small proceedure! ALl is good for which I am sooo grateful. He would've been blind in about 5 yrs time without this and also I am grateful to the person who passed away as an organ donor and donated corneas (apparently they eyes are the most common thing people WONT donate, which is sad if they are happy to donate all their other organs- I think for some it is religious??)

Anyhoo.... they charged him $350... which we luckily did have in our account, and I feel that this should be included in the original price (of $5,500) that we paid last year as it IS an essential part of the same proceedure!

If he needs some lasering on that 'fixed' eye, we know that will be extra cost, but seriously.... stitches removal??

Maybe im being silly, but a LOT of families wouldnt have a spare few hundred dollars on the spot! And we dont have credit cards!

Guess it is a good thing Im back to work part time and we have some extra $'s. And Im also a pretty good budgetter!

Ok, sook over and we are all healthy and happy! Go about your day OKers! โ™ฅ

HUGS to all, happy travelling Braff!

C*J... dont be too hard on yourself! โ™ฅ

Hope the 'mums' are doing ok? X

Hi my lovelies!!!!!  :-x:-x

Just caught up with all the posts and everyones lives - and was touched with all the well wishes for my Mum and me.  Was just what I needed!

So here is the update so far ...  Mum had the op on Friday.  She was in alot of pain after but somewhat OK.  I was able to visit with her after and she was as I would have expected after surgery.  Although we didn't know anything only that the op had been done.

She's able to have her phone with her so we've been texting each other.  Although I am thinking she is not telling me everything (this is normal under this type of situation) :|.  They took 9 cists out of her belly and we are waiting for the test results on those cists.

My brother is in denial about what is going on.  (Males!  :|)  Mum is still in hospital so this is the 4th day.  She says she MIGHT be going home tomorrow.  I'm not liking that at all, but we'll see what happens.

On the brighter side - as it turned out I DID have enough money to get petrol to get me up there and back again (i received and extra $50 in my bank account that I had no idea was coming :-)).  I've only been up there once so far.  Mum said she's prefer NOT to have anyone visit anyway.  I figured that if she is allowed to have her phone with her we can at least text to keep in contact.  Even though I would prefer to actually be there personally.

When I got home late that night, I have never seen my cat Angel so happy to see me!  He was jumping around, getting into things, jumping out, howling, carrying his toys around and just gernerally being a little psycotic!  It really made me smile.  :-x  The day of the op, I spent at mums place with her dog (while waiting for the op to finish) and the pooch was the same.  V v v happy!?  Kept bringing me her toys, just about wagged her back half off!  So I got lots of pet hugs of support that day.  Which was great cause I spent the whole day without humans.  ๐Ÿ˜„

I was also remembering all the words of support from you guys.  Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

Now, I need to recover myself.  I'm exhausted!  But I am thinking of alll your kind words!  Please forgive me for not being more personal to every ones posts, but it's not for lack of caring!  :-x:-x:-x
