Hi Cuddlybunny โฅ
It is a little frustrating trying to call an overseas call centre where the line is always crackly and you have to really concentrate trying to work out what the other person is saying, when English is their second language and I don't speak a word of Hindi ๐
Where is everyone?

Hello all ~~~~~~:-x
Higs and hugs to everyone.
MsCat are you OK? I hope your MummaCat ways have worked a treat on Miss Kitty.
Sounds like you had a wonderful birhday dinner Kylie.
I agree Cuddly, keep the jobs here. I hate having to repeat myself or asking the person at the other end of the phone to repeat themselves due to different languages or very poor accents.
I had the most AMAZING time at Alice Springs.
It was so full on with us doing everything that we could fit into the time.
this will be a book
We arrived lunchtime Saturday and picked up our hire car and checked in at the Crown Plaza. There were tickets waiting for us to attend the Henly on Todd Regatta.
For anyone who doesn't know what it is all about I suggest you google it. It was so much fun. It is the only boat race that gets called off if there is water in the river. It has only happened once.
The commentary that went with the races was hilarious.
Tour d'Todd was another fun event. The cycles were extra large versions of those mice wheels that you see in cages. What a great start to our time there.
After they were over we went up to the top of Anzac Hill and waited for sunset.
Had dinner and went back to the Hotel to plan the next days activities.
We went to The Overland Telegraph Station, on a camel ride, to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the old Gaol and the Womens Hall of Fame. We drove past the Hartley Road School, The Residency, stopped at Old Stuart Gaol but we were outside the hours to get the key to have a peek inside. We went to the Botanic Gardens but it was only 15 minutes before closing so we just drove in and basically out again. We were pretty tired by this stage so back to the Hotel. The next day (Monday) we were up and at it by 6am. We were going to drive out to Uluru which is over 400kms away but the insurance on the car didn't cover hitting kangaroos or anything so we decided to book ourselves onto EmuRun Tours and we did the all day trip with them which was the greatest thing we ever did. It was 6am-midnight but they supplied light breakfast, snacks, lunch, bar-b-que dinner and a sunset viewing of Uluru. They also took us to the Olgas and we had commentary plus walks. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone heading up there. Plus we could both look out the window and have a nap if we wanted instead of dou=ing the driving ourselves.
The next morning we went back to the Botanical Gardens and had breakfast there and then we went to the School of the Air. Very fascinating.
๐ Then we drove back to the airport and came home.:_| There was so much that we didn't get to see.
I went with my #1 daughter (the nice one). We arrived back in Sydney just after 4.30 pm on Tuesday.
Such a fantastic and frenetic few days.
Yesterday I went to the funeral of the 18year old son of my friend. Very, very sad. :_|
I missed my Aunties funeral because it was held on Tuesday and for me to have been able to go I would have needed to leave Sydney on the Monday.
Have I told you ~ I LOVED ALICE SPRINGS and the Northern
Territory. :-x

So glad you had such a fantastic time in NT Braff. When are you going back?
Two weeks til a whole weekend off Cat? I know what you mean but for me it's only next weekend.
Having a seriously tiring time trying to deal with mum's posessions. I need to cull them but I'm not ready to let them go yet ๐

Had to take Lucy to the vet.
Urinary trouble again. Managed to get about 4 drops of urine, which was juuuust enough for vet to test.
Going to have to change both girls diets, give them a little tinned food as well, now.
Going to be so much fun......... not!
They love it, and Lucy is going to whinge and whimper and be the most annoying cat ever, when I won't give her lots of it.

Jacks you don't have to let go until you're ready. Don't push yourself. :-x
I haven't been ready to deal with Dad's ashes and it's been a year and a half. In fact I don't think I'll be ready any time in the near future. That time in my life, dealing with the betrayal and shock of Mr Ex's cheating then my dad passing away 3 weeks later ... is just too traumatising to re-visit.
Cuddly please give Ms Lucy a cuddle from me. Tis awful to have piddle problems. I hope she feels better soon and I hope the doggies bed dries out. (kinda funny really poor doggie) :^O
