Freddie I've  become hooked on mango smoothies too. Mine are a bit different to yours - 1/2 a mango, an egg, milk and a goodly slurp of home made ginger syrup (Christmas present from one of my siblings) I've just run out of syrup though, so I might have to either use honey or get used to them a little less sweet.

Hi incredible women!

We had a film crew filming at our work place last night. No one told me they were coming until I got to work.  😐

That morning Master Kitty was in the bathroom for a loooooong time and all I had time for was a 1 minute shower. I have the type of long hair that needs taming to look halfway decent but I didn't have time to do anything with it but pull it back into an unbrushed ponytail.

Good look .... not! :_|

Cat what were they filming are you going to be on TV?

Mrs Braff I see from my local paper that Damo is going to be in my area on the 5th March. He does do a lot of travelling.

For all you people that live in Sydney  and along the coast stay safe and snug inside if you can we have huge winds here and it is so wet.  My OH and I were pretty luck not that long ago, we were driving home from shopping, just as we turned into our street a huge tree came down on the road in front of us, thankfully we had time to stop and then drive around the tree.

Our house is surrounded by trees so we have a huge amount of leave litter and branches down in our garden, it is going to take ages to pick it all up but thankfully we have a mulcher so it will be easy to mulch and put back on the garden.

Really pissed off!!!

daddy didnt show up for Samantha's swim lesson today!

All dressed and waiting and I phoned 3 times, left voice message and 2 texts, then at 8:45 (starts at 9am) I yanked on my swimmers and got miss 16 to join us and we went.

Of course all the sad sorry texts start, phone too low and didnt hear it.... 

Hmmmmm... One of those dads, I should've known!

We had a fantastic time anyway, just the girls. Sammy had no tears at all when dunked (first time so far!) And lots of happy laughs and splashing!

Just wanted to have a vent before shaking it off and heading out for a lovely birthday lunch with the whole family for my mums bday!

Bought her some shoes and a big bunch of yellow roses ... her Fave!

Hi Maine, thanks. Damien will be there on the 5th APRIL  You and MrMaine should go and see him.  He always does such a fabulous show.

I went to see him on Friday and last night.  I am in Damo heaven at the moment.

He will be at Castle Hill on 8th March.

Damo is going to be MrMom for the next few weeks.  His wife leaves on Tuesday to go and climb Mt Kilimanjaro raising money for the Special Olympics.  She is doing it with her friend/business partner as the Two Mums and a Mountain team from Kids Size Living.

She was there last night and I wished her well.

MsCat, isn't that the way when we rush at something it is always when a bit more time should have been taken.  I'm sure you still looked OK.

Oh Kylie, what a nuisance that was.  Fancy letting Samantha down like that.  Luckily you and Miss 16 were able to fill the void.

I have been to 3 fantastic concerts in less than a week.  :-x

Damo x 2    :-x   :-x  and Barry Gibb last night.    :-x

What a performer he is. He had the audience eating out of his hand.  He had family members along as part of his ensemble.  His son is the lead guitarist and also sang a couple of the songs as well as backup vocalist. 

Maurice's daughter was also there and sang soem songs.

It was a wonderful night.

Today it is 6 years since Billy Thorpe (my namesake) passed away.  :_|  RIP Billy.

They are my Now & Then.  Damien and Billy  :-x
