Every hour you will feel different so just go with whatever
you are feeling. There are no rights or wrongs at times like these so let yourself be whatever you will be. You will feel strange for a few days because the house will feel different and he will be conspicuous by his absence but that is perfectly normally so don't pressure yourself to feel any particular way.

I love the new sofa.....so much better for the back, and the kitties don't have to exert themselves to climb up into your lap.

I'm off to make something to eat and curl up with my kitties on my 'sofa'. Then to bed to sleep with Harriett and start my new life when I wake up.

So glad the waiting and worrying and trying to hold it all together is finally over. Now the healing can really begin, and if bad feelings occasionally overwhelm you, you are free to let them all pour out and cry to your hearts content, because you don't need to pretend any longer. :-x
