I remember those feelings well.
My hubby left me 3 months into moving into our brand newly built dream home. At 40 we'd gone from owning our home to having a huge debt again. Also had 3 kids in private school.
The moment he walked out (to move straight in with skank number 2)he didn't contribute a cent!

I had one of those days....well several actually....but it culminated in me sending out a distress text at 5.30am one morning to all my siblings asking for help as I just couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't even get myself out of bed to iron the school uniforms, let alone do all the other school jobs AND get myslef off to work. I just sat in my bed and cried and cried untilthey arrived and took over.

I had no idea how I was going to manage to keep a roof over our head, pay the bills, put food on the table and send the kids to school etc and I remember my brother telling me I'd be ok and me thinking, "he just doesn't get it", coz I knew I didn't have the dollars coming in or the ability at that stage to get out there and earn them.

But as I keep saying to you, it'll be ok. 2 and a half years down the track this beautiful house is now MINE 😄 He agreed to me buying it and when settlement went through I did. It's not easy and I constantly worry about finances, but for now it's mine and if I have to sell then the leftovers from the sale once the bank is paid off will be mine too. I never thought I'd be 44 and own a brand spanking new house all by myself and be able to support 3 kids, but I am.

Don't waste time sweating what might happen, it's wasted time. Deal with the present and the future will take care of itself.

I managed to get my orange nix today. I tried the shop with the bulls eye and they had so many to choose from.
The only trouble is that I need granny bloomers and they didn't have my size in orange. 😞

I then went to The inital Mart store and couldn't find them and then suddenly.......................there they were. I bought a pack of 3. Orange, aqua and pink. :8}

I am going to celebrate by wearing them tomorrow night. I am going to see Damien Leith and a few of you will know that I absolutely lurve :-x Damien :-x

I will then wash them and put them away ready for the 14th.

Hang in there Ms Cat. We are all here.

Does anyone know how to retrieve deleted threads. I am still thinking this all needs to be a book and would love to catch some of the wisdom (not nasties) of the original thread.
