I suspect she is really in need of love and support at the moment (without all the doom and gloom of some ogf the other threads.)

Yesterdays meeting at the funeral home was a brutal 2 and half hours. A lot of paper work, choosing the casket, memorial book, dates, names places. Dad wanted a small service, no flowers, no "preachers", no music . But he's got all of the above. Dad's brother wants the works. Sorry dad but it's got "bigger than Moomba" to use one of your expressions. :^O

The funeral is next Tuesday. I'll be wearing my OK's :-x


For the first time since Mr Ex left I feel lonely.

But there is one thing I'm really happy about. I had a image of dad's casket being carried out of the church on the broad shoulders of all his brothers. I suggested it to my uncle and he was rapt with the idea.

I think dad would like that .

Hi ms mioux., I haven't been in here for a while (I've been a bit eratic with my posts of late)

So much has happened.
Can I please offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your father, sounds like a truly wonderful man/father
... and how lovely that he slipped away peacefully with all his family there.

As regards your twitch., when my father died my whole body was covered in an unexplained rash., the doctor said the same to me.... stress related due to loosing my father. .. the rash disappeared after about a week.

Hang in there cat., you can do it., you're strong.. don't doubt yourself now.

Glad your uncles are going to carry the casket...that's a lovely idea. 🙂

Also glad you could read my Kitty Typing the other day. :^O I'm currently using an old clunker keyboard OH found at the back of a cupboard - must be 15 years old and it's as big as a battleship - but all the keys work - if you hit them hard enough!
