I know when my miss went to germany earlier this year I was a wreck ,then I was more of a wreck because she wanted to chat on fb every night our time:O.think i was more jet lagged than her by the time she got home .
was up till 3 am everynight .
hope those doing it a bit tough have had some good days ..

well, well, well........how can I win back the kids love daddy bought our eldest a car when she got her licence. Not bad for a man on only $500 a week. It was meant to be handed down to daughter number 2 when she got hers and then to our son when he go this. His words, not mine. It didn't belong to one child, it belonged to all of them. Payed 10 grand for a virtually new Getz. Nice car.
So tonight he rings Maree and tells her that he's going to sell the car coz he needs a bigger boat.
Very interesting listening to the girls discuss this as I cooked dinner tonight. My question of a few days ago asking will they notice? Yep....they notice and they are, as the queen would say, not amused.
I never said ONE WORD!!!! Not one. Was so proud of myself for just listening. Busting a gut to say I told you so, but I didn't.
He'll sell it to her of course for 10 grand......which apparently is a bargain coz if he sells it elsewhere it's going to be going for 12 grand!! Who knew cars went up in value?

My next question. How does one go from being a parent to a self centred arsp?

glad you kept your cool ,you poor daughter being let down like that ,that's what hurts us mums ..not what the ex is up to iykwim.
maybe he was always like it and just hid it well X-(
or maybe we just don't want to see how selfish they are att !

I'm glad he is selling it. She has a full time job now and can afford to buy her own. It'll get him off her back. He was always ringing up threatening ot take it back off her if she didn't do this or that. It's pathetic. If she gets her own he won't have that hold over her anymore and she can tell him to take a flying leap.

It was kinda gratifying to hear them talk about him like they were, because they obviously are quite aware of the truth and how he plays the game. But at the same time it's sad. I don't understand why he is doing any of this. I didn't understand why he hurt me like he did and now he is doing the same to them.

He only went fishing once in our entire relationship and he certainly never did anything with friends......except root their wives 😮 He didn't even really have those kind of friends that he did stuff with. Weird how he's morphed into this whole other man.

Regarding my above post, he bought if for 10 grand 2 years ago. He will sell it to her for 10 grand, or if she doesn't want it he'll put it on the market for 12 grand.

so it was gift with conditions ..agree then ,will be better for her and he won't have that control anymore ..
then he will want to be very careful .gotta feeling she has been holding back ,he might get more then he bargained for !!!

no way ..get the year and model number and kilometers and find the red book price ..that is what its worth .no more that's all he will get at a car yard !

There is no point. He can't see what he is doing is hurtful or wrong, so she may as well save her breath.

Have to admit thought, deep down inside of me the vengeful biatch in me would love to see it happen.:8}
