I can't dally.  I should already be heading off (there) with my friend but the time got changed so now we are leaving in an hour.  I am about to have my shower and I have my OK's ready to wear.  I hope they fit.  Because of Missy constantly borrowing my other ones which were all orange I decided to buy another pair.  The size might not be quite right 😞 but I had to get what was available and I couldn't find the same as the ones I had bought before.  The new ones are pink at the front but orange at the back (the biggest part 😉 ) and the inside is all orange so I thought that was pretty good..

I will report back later on how the day has gone.

Hi everyone!

I was so excited at work that when the big big boss rang me I accidentily hung up on her. Doh!

I raced home expecting to be first but there they were, relaxing at home already! Big hugs all around and gasps! OMG they are both so skinny but my Sally is super thin and almost gaunt. Her cheeks are almost hollow! She has insect bite scars all over her legs and botty.  But she is happy and very chatty!

They both had that parasite that caused terrible diarrhea and then they got food poisoning while in Cuba, Peru and Bolivia. J was rapt to have bacon & eggs for brekky! I'll be feeding them up cos I'm the mama!

We talked till the wee hours then we got up early for more chatting over breakfast. They have borrowed my car for the day but they'll be back soon to take me to work and hopefully they'll remember to pick me up from work later tonight!

I've had about 4 hours sleep :^O   I keep saying to myself "My Sally's home!"

My friend was thrilled when I told her of the messages via here and the support coming her way.

Let me just say that she had good news but it could have been better and then she rang me just half an hour ago so excited because the 'better' part had happened and she is now on top of the world.

She had asked her other friends to wear orange knickers today (she has really embraced the concept) and she asked her sons too.

When it was nearly time for her turn we patted our behinds.

she is so happy right now that I can't convey it well enough but I am sure MsCat knows all about being on top of the world right now with happiness.

Braff, wonderful news about your friend! I cant wear my "ok"s at the mo, as they are the "G" variety, and they dont go very nicely on my preggie bod!! LoL BUT, I am wearing my orange string bracelet, so I know that counts! I dont want to take it off now, cos Im worried I will forget to take it to hospital!

Miss 15's ortho apt was cancelled tomorrow morn so I get a sleep in! WooHoo!

We will head to the shops at midday for lunch with lil sis & mum, then my mum is keen to come to my house to check out the new bedrooms that she's been hearing all about!

Sunday no plans as yet, lots of rest & relaxation!! *May* have to visit hubs nieces for bdays- will see if Im up for it, their kids are seriously feral, and usually sick & snotty, so not real keen! lol

Well  so far J has pranged my car (he thought he did, he hit a wheelie bin at 15kmph just at the same spot where someone else had dinged my car but he thought he had done the damage :^O). Teasing has commenced over that one 😄

I wore my orange knickers yesterday for the lady that needed support and I've been busting to know how cats reunion went. Glad everyones news is good news.
