Sorry I've been MIA for so long - nothing wrong, just been feeling a bit flat lately and everything seems to be more of an effort than usual.

Kylie, I don't think I can give you any helpful advice, but I'm thinking of you and holding you nveery close.♥

Same for you, Jacks. Don't let anyone push you into anything too soon. So what if you have to crab-walk round the house for a while longer - it's your house after all.♥

Kylie, I'm really sorry to read of the problems you and your husband are having and I hope you both feel your relationship is worth putting in every effort to stay together.

Looking at your relationship as an outsider, and only knowing what has been posted, I wonder if some of the problems may be because your hubby feels "inferior" at times.

You have such a strong family connection, which is wonderful but could also be intimidating to your hubby.  You often say how your family is wealthy and they "spoil" you, buy you things etc and your hubby may feel like he can't do those things for you and feel inadequate.  I know you say his family are "scum" so I imagine seeing a family who are so close would have been quite different and would take time to understand.

I'm not trying to defend your husbands behaviour but I thought reading comments from a very different aspect may give you an idea of how some things may be seen.

Ofcourse my post may be totally wrong and your hubby may absolutely adore your families closeness (which I hope is the case).

I wish you well Kylie and if things can't be resolved I'm glad this thread is here to give you support.

We, me, Miss Kitty and MK had a fun evening together last night. Miss Kitty has warmed to the idea her brother is living with me now and we had lots of laughs.

Does anyone else have fibromyalgia? I ignore it most of the time but oh my during the change of seasons it really flares up. It's affecting my legs and feet this time and they are so achey and painful. I was going to do heaps of spring cleaning today but I've decided to treat myself to bed rest .....

But it's a glorious sunny day!

Hello everyone  ~~~~

MsCat, my niece Alicia (the one who was sooo sooo ill earlier this year) also suffers from fibromyalgia.  She was on a lot of painkillers for it and that is one reason why when she was ill this year the painkillers weren't working effectively.

I get to see her this weekend because her sister is getting married.

Alicia is still not 100% and never will be.  Her other sister (not the bride) is unwell also plus their mother.

I hope your aches and pains go away soon.

You must be a very happy, purry Cat to have the kittens within reach.

Kylie, I am keeping you in my thoughts.

I think it was Soul who mentioned about the different upbringings which may be behind MrKylie's behaviour.

I believe there is something in that for sure.

MrBraff was brought up totally different to my family which is very close. Lots of family functions, Christmas etc.

MrBraff used to feel 'swamped' by my family. We were so big, whereas his family never did anything.  Quite dysfunctional.  His Dad used to brag abut Christmas not meaning anything and if the roof needed painting then he would get up and do it, it wouldn't matter if it was Christmas Day.  Get the idea??

Fathers Day, Mothers Day, birthdays etc are just another day.

MrBraff used to get annoyed because family would ring us on our birthday (including him).  He just wasn't used to the attention.

I really feel that is part of MrKylie's problem.

I do hope he snaps out of it or learns to live with it.

By the way, I am one of 5 siblings (family of 7) and MrBraff is one of 4 (family of 6), so it wasn't like being the only child and joining a big family, just different way of involvement.

MsJacks, I am still keeping you close to me too.  I hope things are sorting themselves out for you since you last posted.

Mrs Braff how is Alicia, after the trauma of her illness? Having fibro as well is the pitts.

I don't take painkillers for the fibro unless I'm in a flare. Most of the time I ignore it because painkillers don't work for me when it comes to fibro pain. I'm taking pandol osteo for athritis, which I don't normally take, but if I can reduce some pain at the moment it can only help! I'm also using a hot lavender pack for my legs and when I go to bed I put lavender oil on a tissue and smell that until I fall asleep. It doesn't help with the pain but it comforts me. I know this too shall pass ....

Just passing by after a busy week surrounded by sick people!! (Mr 13, & dad, now hubs & possibley baby!)

I will go thru and answer those posts that have asked me questions very soon, Im not avoiding, just time poor, and some needed thinking not just spur of moment answers ♥

Bubba could be cutting her 3rd tooth, or she may be getting this bug going round (hope not) she's very unsettled tonight. I had to nurse her off to sleep (never done this before), and I can her her starting to cry/whine & wake again! (she doesnt usually do this either!!)

Today I  had a visit from my bestie with her teeny tiny twin girls they are nearly 3 months old, sooo adorable! I got to feed the smaller twin (Ivy) her bottle and lots of cuddles with both! Was great! ♥

I am so over my job. But a work friend stayed back with me last night to talk to me as I was close to tears. If I left I'd miss the people I work with (well some of them). But I swear management make the most stupid knee jerk decisions that directly effect us, the workers, and makes our jobs much more difficult than they need to be. I'm overworked and underpaid for what I have to cope with day after day after day. They keep promising things will improve but they have been saying that for the last 2 years!

Anyway, vent over. Have to go to work. 😐
