So, we are doggy sitting daughters dog, Himself took her for a walk yesterday and she was attacked by another dog. She is ok, luckily, although it went for the throat, it only managed to get the loose skin, there isn't even a tear there. She has a bite on her upper leg, otherwise she is ok, thank God!
The dog held on and they couldn't get it off, luckily a man driving past with his family jumped out and helped, I wish we had his name, I would like to thank him.
After much thought, we are going to report it to the council tomorrow, the dog was restrained, but the lead broke, the owner said it hates other dogs. At the very least it should have been muzzled.
Didn't want to say anything because hadn't told daughter, she was away and didn't want her racing home, she knows now.
Poppy is well, not even limping now. We gave her a dose of high potency Aconite for the shock and are giving her arnica to help with the healing. She was also taken to the vet for a check up.
Made us realise, no matter how much we tease daughter about her dog, she is special to us too, would have been devastating had this not gone well.
Oh dear cuddly... How frightening! Glad to hear she is fine though. โค๏ธ
If any OKers remember my g-f who was pregnant with twins, and the Drs encouraged her to terminate the smaller less nourished baby but she went on to give birth at 30 weeks to 2 healthy but small twin girls.....
Well..... This weekend we celebrated beautiful Princesses Gemma & Ivy's 1st Birthday!!!
they are both developing wonderfully and although Ivy will always be a smaller build than her identical twin, but intellectually she seems right on par so far! Both girls in perfect health, and loads of cheeky personality! โค๏ธ
