On further investigation this last happened in 2016.

The good news is that no more houses will fall into the sea for 196 years.

Maybe they don't believe in climate change. As such, the shoreline when they bought/built will be the shoreline forever.

I have no idea what their insurance companies think, but I suspect it will end in tears.
