I recall some people here last year arguing that we should not have one because China will never do it.

Why are our newspapers reporting the truth instead of TA's lies?  Not only that Australia is not alone having CO2 tax/scheme, we are not charging anything like most other countries do..

LOL, you must be joking, there are another 35 countries in that graph, and many European countries have had schemes for more than a decade, and as you can see most paying considerably more than we do.  Australia is not leading, we are following well behind, but even that bit we pay has shown to be effective in reducing emissions.

Carbon Tax is a bad way to describe it, Turnbull and Rudd both wanted a trading scheme if I remember correctly, haties and pollution go well together 😄
