have you asked any jewish people how
they manage to keep their faith despite the
holocaust?
there are people today who are willing to die
for their god - not praying to stay alive.

Where did he tell us to celebrate his birth? NOWHERE. It's another apostacy introduced by Rome.
Where did he tell us not to? If "God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) Then why would we assume we needed special permision to celebrate his birth.

If Your dying and request a priest
He can exonerate you from all sin
In your final moments
and by whose authority can a priest (a man whose only claim to fame is 5 or 6 years in a university / seminary) forgive you of all sin? What a load of twaddle.
so you get upset when others call you names because of what you believe in and put down your beliefs but its ok for you to call what others believe twaddle?

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

The ONLY thing Jesus commanded us to commemorate was his SACRIFICIAL DEATH which he flagged the date of .
If he had wanted us to celetbrate his birth, he would have made it obvious WHEN that date was. The fact that he didn't means that his birth was nothing in the scheme of things - his birth and his early life were NOT the REASON for his existence - HIS DEATH WAS ALL IT WAS ABOUT. HIS DEATH which fulfilled the prophecy about the coming Messiah - and the fact that he died a criminals' death taking on the sins of the world.

And just so you know, I thought we could be friends, but I don't like to be 'set straight'. I already know and agree with everything you've said so far on these forums about Christianity. I might not be as old & wise as you, but that's no reason to talk down to me either.
Let me know when you want to go back to chatting 🙂
Oh Dear! Now I am in your bad books
I certainly didn't mean to 'talk down to you' but all of us at times need to be 'set straight' about things, I know I do. Didn't your mother and / or father ever have to set you straight on something?
As far as I am concerned, we can be friends, but a friendship is a two sided thing, isn't it?
