This week my son and I have been out and about for the Sydney Comedy Festival and nearly every show was spoiled by some person or 2 in the audience who thinks s/he is funnier than the guys on stage.
What kind of personality does this? At one show, even the audience got stroppy and started telling this one woman off but that didn't even stop her.
I don't get it.

People didn't dare heckle the late Bernard Manning. In fact they didn't even dare get up to go to the toilet or the bar, when he was on stage. Anything that so much as moved, was a target for his ascerbic wit.

Martini, I agree with you re ppl like Billy Connolly, he was hilarious even with his F bombs, but even he could overuse it at times.
But he used his F words as adjectives, not as stand-alone statements, like Geraldine Knight's "Tony Abbot is a Can't".
