I really like the garden posted by Kopenhagen. My new backyard is a blank slate I would love to find the time to make something like that. It reminds me of a Japanese garden. If I cound get the tree laying on its side in Dsk's pic...it'd be great!
The Moeraki boulders posted by Am*3...bit of a mystery those things. Millions of years ago the oceans were red due to a high iron content. Stromatolites (sort of the early version of coral reefs) formed all over the planet producing oxygen creating a rust in the ocean which formed the iron deposites we dig up today and changed it's colour to what it is now.
Mentioned here at 16:37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xsn3wpVAcjk
It's possible those boulders are Stromatolites. Maybe your drier hotter weather caused the smoother shape than elsewhere.

awww they are gorgeous Simone. I thought they might be Pretty faced wallabies ?
Did you plant the sunflower and sorghum for the wildlife?

I think we all enjoyed Wally, Greencat - I know I did - and what we need to remember is that although Pimpy is the originator of these threads. control of them really rests with all of us. If we don't like a photo we don't kudo it and if we don't like a theme (or thread) we don't post on it; so in the end majority opinion carries the day. And I think that has been pretty well demonstrated.
Pimpy, thank you for your very brave and honest post. We are all here to support you in any way we can.

Thanks Pimpy. They are red necked wallabies but there is pretty faced wallabies at Kooralbyn also.
The sunflowers and the sorghum grew from throwing the bird seed out there lol.

Hugs from me as well pimpy.
I love the photo thread but don't always have a photo suitable for the theme.
I take no notice of the stirrers but I was amazed at the gall of one poster .
And Greencat - I love "Wally" - I'm sure you can come up with something for each topic. That's what we need - a bit of fun.
I couldn't care if I never win - just enjoy a fun thread. Beats the political ones any day .

I was actually going to 'decrease' Wally in size, photoshop onto my image as the 'council tag' on the little miniature schnauzer (Eddie) that I posted, and then ZOOM in later and say 'HEY LOOK' there's Wally.
But I had no idea what the hell was going on in the other thread, and then there was a new one, then it was gone or changed, so I figured I had best stick to the rules, or at least make it look like I was trying to.
