Do you think a policy which states members may only use (1) Registered ID on the boards should be introduced to discourage posters who use alternate ID's to create disharmony?

Yep, report them. So many fake id's have been removed in recent months. If you think it is a fake id, report it. They will be banned unless. There is no rule against having a posting id as well as a buying id. It was reccommended back in the days of CW.

I have noticed with these new boards, that your registration date is entered as the date you first logged in to the new boards, and not when you first joined ebay. This has caused some old CW'ers to be accused of fake id's because they haven't been recognised by newer members who saw the registration date and jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I've noticed that Neddy, that's why I've signed in with my old one I used to use to see what date it said.  In the stats it says I've posted 3 times with this id yet I can't remember when as I don't think I have since the changeover to Lithium, well at least I think I haven't or either I'm getting dotty in my old age

Yes Icy, but on this id , not the ivmg.17 one 🙂 that's what I'm referring to.  That id other than today hasn't posted since June 2010.

tcmsecretuseid...re your spellchecker, it now works slightly different than the old one. Instead of a right click to bring up the options, it's now a left click. Have you tried that ? Re your second problem, I'm afraid I can't help with that one. Sorry.

Meanwhile...

There was a poster on the UK Round Table who had so many IDs, she'd often forget who she was and start to argue with herself. Now jumped ship and I believe posts on the US Boards. Pity really as she was quite funny, and there aren't many of those correspondents left. Well let's face it, there aren't many of anything left - funny or otherwise - on there now.

When I click the ABC button, every single word is underlined in red. I'm fairly certain that some of my words are spelled correctly. 

I'll try to left click this sentence  (sinterencely).  See what happens below. 

My misspelled words are not automatically underlined when I'm typing either, which was a great feature that I had before lithium took over.  I have a mac, and the spelling and grammer feature work on everything I do, except ebay. 

Maybe I need to change something in my settings here. I'll try that after I post this. 

When I right click or left click on the word, this is what I get. 

Finish doesn't give me any correct spelling options.

My spellcheck function is working using Chrome on an iPad, rather than Safari, if you want to try that,

and to revert to the OP, I am just me, do not see the need for posting under more than one ID.

I have a problem with my wireless keyboard, I'm finding it not very unreliable, sometimes it just sort of jams up & won't work so I'm lucky I can revert to the iPad when that happens
