I have accepted it (as I did many months ago) that he would win.

What I won't accept is that 'people' can vote for someone with no policies, who's values are not in line with most of the country. Who has a party full of candidates like Diaz/King/Scott/Mirabella.

This is a great day for Australia & the people are rejoicing in droves.

All we want is a steady hand, a govt that can deliver their policies & no more class wars or politics of hatred & division. This is something we deserve & I hope Mr Abbott can deliver.
