I'm surprised Joz. Welfare will be the least of Tony's concerns. I hope for your sake that you are right.
i suppose anybody on welfare would have something to fear under any government if their claims were false, i have nothing to be concerned about
bottoms up! lol

I have accepted it (as I did many months ago) that he would win.
What I won't accept is that 'people' can vote for someone with no policies, who's values are not in line with most of the country. Who has a party full of candidates like Diaz/King/Scott/Mirabella.
I can't accept that the nation generally can be that stupid. So I will assume that Murdochs influence has been all emcompassing.
Who's values are not in line with most of the country??????????????? Are you serious. So trashing your own party, undermining a PM for 3 years, lying day in day out, policies that failed, a weather vane who changed his opinions & beliefs at the whim of the polls.
Your assumption that Tony Abbott's values are not in line with MOST of the country is offensive & insulting. He's a decent human being which could not be said for Rudd & his backers.
You are so out of touch, just like Labor & that's the sole reason they were removed NO OTHER REASON & to say so is another insult.
May I suggest you look to your own beliefs.

This is a great day for Australia & the people are rejoicing in droves.
All we want is a steady hand, a govt that can deliver their policies & no more class wars or politics of hatred & division. This is something we deserve & I hope Mr Abbott can deliver. Many Australians gave him their vote & that means a lot to him. That is all we want & deserve & if we get more then that is a bonus.
