What a wonderful holiday you must have had. I am so happy for you.

I would love to be able to go to Europe for 2 months and visit relatives in the UK, but my job doesn't allow me to do that...

Thank you, it is one of the best things I have done for some time.

Better late than never.

I get 4 weeks a year and had saved a little extra time so I was able to go for a little over 5 weeks.

Perhaps you could do something similar, I found 5 to 6 weeks is a good time away.

And for us whom live in Melbourne, going during Aus winter to experience summer in Europe is definitely a bonus.

Grundvigt's Church, modern but very impressive.

A train that goes through the middle of town and by the harbour. NO fences.

That round tower is very appealing. I have daydreamed about living in a tower like that.

And the church…! Wonderful. What a feat of modern architecture - it had beauty and innovation and a feeling of the sacred.

It looks charming; the town looks like the most relaxing place possible for its inhabitants.

I never realised how much appeal these Nordic places would have for me, in spite of all the Nordic Noir I’ve watched!
