i suspect your right
we might have a vaccine for THIS virus in the next few months
that doesnt mean we wont have another crazy virus in say a few years (or even next year) from now we wont have a vaccine for
and we are back in the same panic as we have been in the last 8 months

Or in 1919. Spanish flu infected a third of the world's population and killed between 1.5 and 3% of the global population.
This one is killing about 2% of those infected, probably due to more awareness of public health and the ability to find vaccines/cures quicker. 1.36 million, while a big number, is 0.02% of the global population.
Extrapolate that and the instances of a new fluish virus infecting people and not being contained would be less. Except in places where politics trumps public health.

A nasal spray with the potential to fight Covid-19 and other respiratory viral infections will be tested in the hope of manufacturing it in Australia.
The INNA-051 nasal treatment, developed by the Australian biotech company Ena Respiratory, targets the primary site of most respiratory infections, including Covid, and activates immune defence mechanisms in the respiratory tract.
The technology could help fight coronavirus and other infections such as influenza and the common cold.
That would be an amazing medical advance, I hope it works out.

Says a lot about his priorities.
HE obviously doesn't think that killing thousands of his citizens daily, or spitting the dummy at losing the election, should impact on him. Until, of course, he is no longer POTUS and all those suits become active.
I find it incredible that the Republicans don't force him to pull his head in. For the good of the Party, and the country. He's not a dictator, after all. As much as he admires them, he picked the wrong country.

I dont think the republican party will recover from the shame of letting this idiot getting away with all this carp.
Has he got nude picture of them with ladies of the night, in his Hotels LOL

Many many Americans are wondering if he has something bad on so many of the Republicans in charge, and I wouldn't be surprised at all. That's his style, down and dirty.
P.S. , "Spitting the dummy" ? I'm lost again, lol!
