You should really stop watching those " How dumb are people" Youtube videos, son. The USA has only FIFTY STATES, and the Federa goverent controls ALL of the Agencies that truly govern national ealth standards. Take a look at the FDA, just as an example.

Vic economy to bounce back fastest: report
Victoria's economy is forecast to recover quicker than any other state or territory, despite suffering the worst downturn in Australia due to its second coronavirus wave.
The Deloitte Access Economics quarterly business outlook, released on Monday, forecasts the Victorian economy will grow 5.3 per cent in 2021, outpacing Queensland (4.6 per cent) and NSW (4.4 per cent).
"Victoria's recovery to date has been remarkable. Few at the height of the second wave could have envisaged Victoria would begin 2021 in such a favourable position," the report says.
The state's labour market also bounced back fasted than Deloitte first anticipated, with employment increasing 4.8 per cent in the two months to November.
published at the end of last month Jan 18th.. but you can google it yourself 4chan... its all over the net
Common sense dictates that those states that have not suffered the same amount of economic damage as Victoria, have not got as far to rebound. Basically the economy has never really stopped in South Australia as our virus outbreaks have been jumped on quickly and snuffed out before they have got out of hand. ( South Australia pioneered the short sharp lockdown technique Andrews has copied in this latest outbreak )
But politics aside, on the Victorian economic bounce back, I genuinely wish you well. No-one wants to see one state lagging behind the rest as a result of the virus and when it is going well Victoria has the potential to be an engine room for the Australian economy.
the unemployment stats from each state were shown by Alan Kohler on ABC news tonight.... interestingly alhough the economy has never stopped in South Australia... the unemployment rate there is one of the highest, coming in at 7.1 compared to Vic. which is 6.3 despite the disruption to our economy. In NSW the unemployment rate is 6

some more on that for chamelon.... it looks like we're doing OK in Vic despite the big lockdown of last year.. I know that my daughters fashion retailer have said they'll hire more staff when jobkeeper ends... they're one of the national companies that don't really need it but are using it she'll be glad of jobkeeper ending because they've been making her work across 5 stores as they put off everyone who didn't qualify for jobkeeper ... It will be grim for small business though

Sadly that's very true. After a 16 years of incompetent Labor governments South Australia's economy is a total basket case. Its going to take at least another decade of steady, reliable Liberal governments to try to repair some of the damage. Even then, things have got so bad, that I,m not sure anyone can fix it..
We sat there for more than a decade watching things deteriorate under a similar government style to Dan Andrews. Lots of talk and media appearances. Lots of super expensive ribbon cutting on bread and circus, populist carp that might win votes, but would never create a dollar for the state and the anti business sector attitude, that stifled private enterprise initiative and encouraged our best and brightest to go somewhere else.
The Liberals had barely taken office when COVID hit so like other governments, have not had time to do anything other than keep the state afloat..
I,ve always advocated and practiced swinging voting, allowing Labor to repair the social damage the Liberals cause and the Liberals to repair the economic damage Labor causes.
South Australia is a classic example of what can happen when a stupid voters keep Labor in office for too long, to the point the states economy is now wrecked beyond repair.

They put off everyone who didn't qualify for jobkeeper ? WOW, and it is these turds that mean small business will find it very grim in fact a fair few are dead already. I know Sarinia Russo did the same thing when she of all people didn't need it, sold up now and no doubt living the life of Riley -
Nothing to do with your daughter deb, it's just this sort of greedy corporate carp really annoys me.

Unbelievable, there are always those who take advantage of others distress and this is just.....no words. I know it happens, but does big business have no scruples any more? No morality ?

you've had a liberal Govt since 2018 Chamelon.. the virus hit us in 2020
Vic is doing OK as all the figures show ( despite a labor Govt)
