Clive Palmer has purchased 32,900,000 doses of hydroxychloroquine, and donated the supply to the National Medical Stockpile.
The controversial businessman believes the much-hyped malaria drug is the “best hope” for those suffering COVID-19.
He's also taken out a special two page spread in the West Australian (and probably other papers too) to advertise the fact.
If interested you might want to follow up on clinical trials in process by Mahir Ozmen, a professor of surgery at the Istinye University, School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey

note : needs zinc , note Chloroquine is only administered every 2 weeks, not 3 x day at 200% overdosed on patients with pre-existing heart conditions ...
there are other large clinical trials being conducted with months required for results so might be a little to totally judge as ineffective and reeks a bit of big-vaccine-vested interests
There are people who take Chloroquine for Lupus and other conitions; there is NO indication that they are less likely to get coronaviru. People testing this drug are NOT idiots. Finding cure/prevention is in everyboy's interest. If Chloroquine worked people testing it would be only too happy.

Fifteen countries in sub-Saharan Africa and India carried almost 80% of the global malaria burden.
Five countries accounted for nearly half of all malaria cases worldwide: Nigeria (25%),
Democratic Republic of the Congo (11%), Mozambique (5%), India (4%) and Uganda (4%).
So keeping an eye on those countries would give them some idea of any effectiveness in the use against the
Coronavirus as a high percentage of their citizens could/might be taking the drug.

Indeed it is. Also six weeks old. I would certainly wonder why genuine clinical trials need to be funded by crowd-sourcing. If it was fair dinkum the government would be throwing money at them. It is News Corp, though, so who knows where in the article the single grain of truth is located.

Death attributed to other causes is significantly higher now, than it was last year in the same time. The question is why? Is it because people with other, treatable conditions are reluctant to go to hospitals and die, or is it because there is lot more C19 death than we know.
